I am completely disgusted by the customer service at the bakery. I was looking to order cupcakes for my sons birthday. The lady working at the bakery while holding her cell phone and looking at it when I was standing at the counter looking at the decorating options in the book didnt ask if I needed help. I said "Excuse me," she didnt look away from her phone in any hurry. She took her time. Then I told her what I wanted. Everything I asked for, there was some obstacle for it. First it was the day and time I wanted to pick it up, then we got past that, and it was the certain decorating kit I wanted. She just said "No, we dont have that". Which come to find out later after speaking with a manager standing there and kind of helping with trying to find a solution, she offers the edible printouts for the theme i was looking for. She explained to the manager that its a simple thing for her to do. Why wasnt that offered in the beginning when i couldn t have what i originally asked for? That would have sounded so much nicer and more accomadating than "No, we dont have that." When I started being less than nice and explained that I didnt appreciate the attitude and that I have had trouble with an ordered cake from there before and she said "Well , why do you keep coming back?" Good question! Its just few and far between when I do order from you all and Im stupidly giving it another chance. Besides, its cheaper and thats what I can fit into my budget for my sons birthday on top of everything else I am paying for. I work in customer service, and this behavior from this employee or any others that interact with customers is completely ridiculous and unacceptable.

Im going to elaborate on my one star. I wish there was an option for negative 5 stars because this place sucks in the worst ways. It seems every item I buy, whether it be a smart TV or toys for my son, breaks or just flat doesnt work. Customer service treats you like youre stupid but forgets that everyone in Culpeper has had some kind of retail experience and knows their policies are total bullshit. Returning crap items is just as painful as pulling teeth. I make sure to call ahead of time before wasting my gas and time, only to get there and be told I did in fact waste my time and gas because they wont accept my return. The management is a complete joke. I called the 800 number and where did that get me? No where. Pretty sure Gary had a personal grudge because I sat out waiting with my 2 year old for a 15 dollar return that he must have been too busy to do. This Wal-Mart is a nightmare. The associates working under the management and customer service are far more pleasant and accommodating. Which is sad. 0 stars to this awful place.

The lines are ridiculous here. I had a gift card, so I had to come here, waited in line so long, I left & gave the gift card away. I know some people who work here & they are the best. But you can keep your low prices & long lines. **update review: I tried the curbside pick up option with the expectation that I would avoid long lines. The food they picked out was moldy!! So I had to go back on 3 occasions to exchange moldy food or drinks. What a time saver! Not to mention, Im not sure I even got all the products I paid for. I will be contacting the manager and maybe a lawyer soon. Too bad a billion dollar company cant be bothered to offer fresh products.

As Walmarts go, this location is about average. Its not as crowded as many Walmarts can be in bigger towns and cities, but employees arent always easy to find if you need assistance. They recently remodeled this location and added self-checkout near both entrances. This alleviated the long lines drastically, which can be bad on the weekends. I almost always use the self-checkout and rarely have to wait more than a minute or two. They also remodeled the produce department, which looks much nicer and has a better selection. Produce prices are decent and generally lower than the grocery stores. Produce quality is decent as well.

Why remodel and put self check out lanes at both ends of the building and then keep one end closed? They are always short on check out staff. And why can you get Orange Creme Clear American water at every other Walmart but Culpepers? And the pharmacy is rediculous! One time Iwait half an hour in the pharmacy line only to be asked to speak with the person at the drop off window about my refill. They had already called and told me it was ready! But I answered her question and she told me it would be 30 more minutes and to go to the back of the line. The CVS in Target is my new pharmacy!

My daughter and her boyfriend went to purchase some things. The credit card strip wouldnt scan. They tried saying its against their policy to type the number in which is total b.s.. Ive worked there and have done this! When.my daughter tried handing the manager her phone to talk to the other owner of the card he held his hand up almost knowing her phone out of her hand. Know that its a good thing I wasnt there and along with Gary a lady named Mary and another Tera will also have some complaints.

Their grocery pickup is awesome so if I could review that alone I would give it 4.5 stars, but their store is always crowded, which I expect. My problem is that they never have enough people on the checkout lanes. There are consistently 4-6 lanes open with lines 4-5 carts deep. Honestly, if you have to go in the store, try and only snag a few things and use the self checkout, otherwise either use online grocery ordering or pack a lot of patience when checking out.

My visit was a joke. Bought 4 new tires 2 days ago and on the second day one of the tires blew out. Paid for another new tire and asked to see damaged tire. Well they could not produce tire. Did not put spare back I had put on and opened van and spare came out hitting me in leg. Great tires but service is below standard and will cease ALL shopping there. Sent email to corp and still no response! Not surprising! Sam Walton would not allow that to happen!!!!

Culpeper Walmart Crystal assistant manager and Mark (I think that was his name, hes the "manager" who worked last night and today 4/17/16 @1:38PM) are the worst form of customer service I have ever seen in my life! Dismissive of me, talk over me, ignore my request, and never once apologize for the rude customer service I had from either of them! Absolutely the worst Walmart employees Ive ever encountered!!!

Slow, almost non existent service in the auto center from their "technicians". Ended up waiting 3x as long as originally told and I was the 2nd customer to show up this morning. Only had one tire replaced. Now my truck has a serious shake while driving. Going to have to take it somewhere else and pay to have it balanced again. Ridiculous! Very displeased with my visit.
