Judd and Black was the best decision I could have made when making a large appliance purchase. I recently purchased a new Bosch stove, microwave, dishwasher and a new Electrolux washing machine and dryer. I first went to Lowe’s thinking I would save a considerable amount of money at the big box store. I have learned this is a major mistake, the salesperson knew little about the equipment and once I ordered the items delivery became a nightmare logistics problem and it was questionable if the price included installation and takeaway of the old appliances. Once the problems began to build I cancelled my order and went to Judd and Black The Store: My wife and I went to Judd and Black in Mount Vernon, Washington. Immediately I knew this was the right decision. Judd and Black is just a appliance store not a “big box” store. Judd and Black has hundreds of appliance options on the floor. The Sales Experience: We were greeted by a very professional sales person, “Jake Perry.” Jake was extremely knowledgable of all the appliances on the floor. Jake walked us through the appliances we were interested in purchasing and helped us pair up appliances to fit our kitchen and laundry needs. Jake spent serval hours with us in a “No High Sales Pressure” manner. I brought my purchase price from Lowes and Jake was able to match the total price of the five (5) major appliances within a few hundred dollars. Also, Jake was able to upgrade the appliances I had planned to purchase from Lowes to the Bosch 800 Series appliance suite and the overall cost was less than Lowes because Jake was able to maximize the Bosch rebates. Delivery and Installation: I live in the San Juan Islands and delivery via the ferry system can be difficult and frustrating. Jake Perry established a delivery date and two trucks arrived on the day determined. The kitchen installers were professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I didnt t have to lift a finger. The kitchen install took a few hours and the installers left my home with a fresh new look of perfectly working Bosch appliances. The second delivery of the washer and dryer came within a few hours. The installers had to remove the old and install the new via tight stairwells to the basement. The installers took care not to damage walls and cover the appliances to prevent damage. Once installed, they tested the appliances and found the washer would not power up. Jake Perry to the rescue. I called Jake and he arranged for an unscheduled delivery of a new replacement washer the NEXT DAY! Conclusion: I could not say more about how well we were treated at Judd and Black in Mount Vernon. Our sales professional, Jake Perry worked in our interest every step of the way, answered all our questions, worked with us on the best buy for the money and made sure the installation went without a hitch. My lesson from this experience is DO NOT be fooled by the big box store cheaper advertised prices. Judd and Black’s business “is” appliances and they will work with you to closely match prices and give you better value for your money. You can also be assured the appliance are delivered and properly installed to your satisfaction.

Since Anderson sold to judd and black I have had several negative experiences, they wouldnt warantee an item that they no longer carry, they came to fix our dish washer I asked a question about my icemakler, The tecnition took 30 seconds to look at it without fixing it and charged $86 to look at a second item. No kidding 30 seconds.. Thanksgiving Eve my oven went out and I was forced to do business with them once again, or go without. The salesmen bad-mouthed everyone else in the business but did not offer any way to ammend for my past bad experience. Here we are again with my wife that took in our oven door to be cleaned. We did not want it scratched, we were told no more than 75 dollars bill was $100. No surprise to me. Now that we got it back today it is bent and wont fit, and the latch is put on upside down so it wont even fit back on our unit. It is truly amazing that they stay in business with their crappy service. I have since bought a new stove top and dishwasher from deward and bode who puts them to shame time and time again I cant express how much I dislike this company. I wish there was a 0 star rating.

High quality and high price. After $5,000 purchase had to call & arrange install although appliances were in stock. Installers "do install dishwashers", although installation was sold. Salesman eventually installed it himself. Top shelves of $1,400 dishwasher now slide out whenever door opened. Sales said dimensions of opening were not correct although dimensions match appliance specs. Previous standard dishwasher did work fine. Judd & Black offered to sell me another model! Recommendation: purchase from Big Box stores, save money, and expect same, if not better, service.

Worst customer service ever received. Over priced. None of the appliances work well. The financing turned out to be a credit card that couldnt be closed for two years. I would NEVER shop here again!
