First time I visited the dealership. I knew what I wanted, had VIN numbers in hand, and an appointment scheduled. I was met at the door by an amped-up, slick-dressed corporate carnival barker who had been assigned there for a few days on his way to Detroit. He was polished and knew all the tricks of the trade. He reminded me of the guys who stand outside the clubs on Bourbon Street trying to steer you inside. He was fun to watch but way over the top. Make an appointment with a specific sales rep. Ask for Remi. He works in internet sales and is a straight shooter. We negotiated in a nondescript showroom of a different building. If youre accustomed to the used car lots on Dixie Highway youll find this place to be nice enough. If youre used to Kings AutoMall or Performance dealerships, then you may not like the setting. Incidentally, I saw no female sales, service or finance reps. It was a male-dominated culture with all the banter, but they were respectful to everyone. I was looking at two used commercial vehicles but one had been taken by another dealer just minutes before. The other was a stripped down cargo van with 300 miles added by the dealership. When we opened the rear doors, the inside looked like a barn. If youve bailed hay you know how the dust and chaff settles everywhere. The dealership had used it to haul straw and never cleaned it. I was amused until I saw a $900 up charge for an Environmental Protection Assurance Package (EPAP), which I was told is on all of their vehicles. This is a 12 month warranty covering paint sealer and "interior care". Consider the interior care required of a stripped out dirty straw hauler - two upholstered seats. They offered to lower it to $300. The negotiation process is like most other dealerships employing the same tactics. Its like cleaning a sewer drain. Theres a fair deal on the other side if you cut through all the dealer BS in the process. Besides the EPAP up-charge, they will try to up-sell you extended warranties or certify your used vehicle for an extra $1,000. Cashing out takes about an hour. Mark Postallian was a good guy and very helpful. When prepping the vehicle they forgot to reattach the antenna. I didnt notice it until I turned on the radio while on the road. I had to drive back to the service department. After failing to locate the antenna, they had to scavenge one from another vehicle before sending me on my way. That was another hour of my time spent for someones lack of attention to detail. Another pet peeve is that a second key is now considered an "accessory". It takes a week for them to order and an hour to fit to the vehicle. I wasnt charged for it, thanks to a seasonal gift promotion, but will have to make another appointment to get it. So I will get another chance to interact with the service department and give them a fair shake. 12/28 post script: 4 weeks after buying my vehicle, I was told that my second key had not even been ordered. During this time I had called and emailed my service advisor who did not reply. I called the parts department and talked to Tagg who was very helpful. Overall, not impressed with this organizations lack of communication. 2 stars....

Overall Ive had a terrible experience since purchasing my vehicle. I bought a 2014 Jeep Patriot. I wasnt provided the second key and the seller seemed too rushed to check for one before I purchased. I called several times and never had one returned in regards to this. I also have a missing piece of my vehicle (the light cover and portable flashlight in the trunk) which is a pricey replacement. I also was told by another dealership my tires are going bad and the vehicle isnt even three years old and has 33k on it. Also, I ran out of windshield wiper fluid the day after purchasing it and so I popped the hood to just double check make sure it wasnt malfunctioning. I noticed that not only was that empty but the engine coolant level is on the add line and not between add/fill as its stated where it should be in the user manual. Dwayne Smith did a great job at first but never returned my call about the key. Honestly with how much I bought the vehicle for I should have been provided a second one. Im highly disappointed and will probably never return to a Jake Sweeney nor recommend any of my family members too. A few months ago someone reached out via messages on here and said they would call me about my terrible experience...yeah havent received a call or email. #emptypromisesIf I could give zero stars at this point I would. So yet again a few days ago someone reached out to me via Yelp. Dwayne did call and he agreed that Jake Sweeney would comp the cost of the key and that their "key" guy would be at the Chevy Store on 3/17 between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. I show up on 3/17 at 8:05 a.m. and drive around once not seeing any "key" vans. Then I decided I would park and walk into their service bay to see if they know who I am talking about and if they know where he is. They were helpful, walked out with me, and said he drives a big orange van but he hasnt been here at all this morning and I dont know where he is, but he normally doesnt show up until 10 a.m. or later. THIS HAS BEEN AN ONGOING ISSUE FOR 9 MONTHS! They have permanently put a bad taste in my mouth. My advice, do not recommend third party dealers that cant even show up for their job at either the right time or place. Also, your a.m. receptionist tossed me off like a piece of garbage so congrats. As stated before, Im never recommending this company, I will share my story with my friends and family, and I will never purchase a vehicle from this place again.

Well folks, we were so impressed with the Dodge Ram Limited my husband purchased a few months back, I started looking for a new Mazda or Jeep recently. Watching Jake Sweeneys website, I came up on the most beautiful Grand Cherokee I have ever seen. Went by last Sunday to get an up close view and went in Monday to see Robert E. Lee. Once again, I drove off the lot driving the most gorgeous, luxurious vehicle. Again, the experience was painless, relatively quick with Robert hanging with me through to the end even helping me transfer my belongings from the old to the new car. If you havent been in to see the fine folks at Jake Sweeney Jeep, give a try. If that isnt your cup of tea, try Jake Sweeney Mazda. Either way I am positive you will leave as a satisfied customer. Give a call - ask for Robert E. Lee! 6/23/15 Our truck purchase this evening was as professional and satisfying an experience as we have always had at Jake Sweeney. Robert E. Lee (yes that is his name) was very helpful in answering all questions no matter how silly, and ensured that all of our needs were well taken care of. He is knowledgeable of the product, stayed with us through the entire sale and gave us instrument panel instruction before driving off the lot. The document signing process went smoothly with extended warranty and gap insurance clearly defined and explained, easing our mind regarding our newly acquired Dodge Ram Limited. Everyone that we came in contact with was professional, treated us with utmost kindness and were all personable. We thank Service for the quick turn around in readying the truck to drive home, we thank Jake Sweeney for the gift of eight oil changes and full tank of gas. We look forward to doing business with you again real soon. We highly recommend, if you are in the market for a new or used car, give Jake Sweeney a chance. We have driven Mazdas - two purchased at Jake Sweeney, now this Dodge Ram. You will be glad you took the time to talk to these fine people. Bill and Cynthia Mottel West Chester, Ohio
