Awful experience. Called to make an appointment today. The woman on the phone was hesitant to get my set up as if she didnt want to take on more work for the day. They scheduled me for 1230. I wanted the basic bath and nail trim. Didnt think it would take too long. Well, after an hour of waiting I asked for an update on my dog Abby. I was told she just had her nails trimmed and it will be another 1 to 2 hours before shes done. My jaw about hit the floor. I did not have that much time to wait, nor did I think a simple bath and nail trim should take that long. The lady said, "yeah it typically take 1 to 2 hours." I asked to only pay for the nail trim. They brought Abby out and she looked terrified. I asked the groomer what all was done and she confirmed only a nail trim. I asked why it took an hour to do that. Another groomer cut in and said its because they schedule 3 dogs per appointment time. So my poor dog who absolutely hates crates was crated for 50 minutes before she even had her nails trimmed. That explained why she looked so afraid. Had these facts been communicated I would not have scheduled the appointment. And if my pup has to wait almost an hour before its her turn, why not offer to let your dog sit with you while you wait? Customer service was terrible. There were no apologies. Never going back.

Our Puppy got a horrible rash from the groomers who did not take very good care of him! We took our 6 month old golden retriever puppy in to be groomed. I was told it would be about an hour. After 2 hours they brought him out wet and tried to say he was aggressive. He is far from aggressive. Hes a puppy and very submissive and playful. He has never growled at anyone let alone snapped at anyone. He has been at the petsmart groomers before and never had a problem. We told them he never liked the dryers and did better with the drying cage but they wouldnt do the drying cage because they were closing soon. They also made a point to tell me that they were working with another dog that was sick so this made me feel like they just didnt have time for our puppy and rushed him. Then they tried to charge us for things that were never done. Like nail grinding/clipping, blow drying brushing etc. The next day we notice our puppy scratching and biting at his back. The day after that hes broken out in a yellow bubbly rash all over his back. When I called management they didnt seem to care and offered us to come back in. I highly recommend no one to take their dog into the petsmart groomers in North Canton.

The manager, Tommy refused my return. According to the website explanation, he was not justified in his refusal. I brought the item in, unopened, with my ID. When I told him that I read the policy. He said he had no way to return my money without a receipt. I stated the store refund card. He again stated his refusal very loudly and rudely. As I was leaving the store, he yelled at me with contempt and embarrassing me. He said so nice doing business with you. I said that I would not be back, he said good, have a nice day. Horrible experience, I will never return to that store.

So I have not heard anything very good about this store. The prices are too high, the grooming service is horrible, and they would not sell me any fish. I am planning my wedding and need around 30 comet goldfish that we planned on using for our center pieces. After the wedding we planned on giving the fish to the kids, so that each fish would have a good home. PetSmart would not even consider selling me the fish. Personally that sounds like pure laziness and that the manager should be reprimanded for their rude attitude and lack of customer service

Very disappointed in the grooming service, I paid for the upgraded service that included tooth brushing and clipping the nails and neither were done. When I picked up my dog he had loose hair on his back that I was able to wipe off. His report card indicated that he loved getting hroomed and was a perfect general man and yet his teeth were not brushed and his nails were not trimmed, 50 bucks down the drain! Never again will I use their service and that is a shame because I have used Petsmart in Maryland for years and they were great!

I am very dissapointed in the grooming department. It took over 4 hours to do my two shih-tzus. When I went in to pick them up, they where not on the tables, so I figured they where done. But the groomer said she still had to cut one of them. She was working on another dog and not one of mine. When they where finally done, they looked terribly. Their fur was very uneven, the faces where a mess. And in some spots they where shaved clear down to their skin. I feel so bad my dogs had to go through that. I wont be back.

This is the worse petsmart I have ever been to. I am a frequent customer and tried to return a couple cat toys I had bought God knows how long ago. And when I asked for store credit because I couldnt find the receipt but like I said am a frequent customer the manager says she cant do it. I went to petsmart in massillon and the manager there did it with no questions asked. Again, the worse petsmart around here by far.

I had no appointment and just brought my 6 week old puppy in and they didnt hesitate to see her. They were very kind and compassionate. She was examined and perscribed the meds she required. Also they have wonderful affordable plans so I can provide my puppy with good quality care and I am thankful. <3 Thank you PetSmart

Each and every time I scheduled here, the receptionist screwed up my appointment time. Also they book way too many dogs at the same time, all crowded together in a small room. My poor dog was a nervous wreck and defacated on herself. They also did a lousy job for 90 dollars!! Never again

Very rude employee in the aquatics dept. that did nothing to help and in fact recommended I buy something of lesser value than I intended to spend. Turns out she recommended I buy 2 fish for an aquarium that should only hold one of them. Whole experience was ruined by this employee.

They are the worst Pet Smart ever. The manager wasnt going to give us her name she hang up on my husband and she called the police. Knowing how tge police are killing black man. She was very rude . I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PET SMART. THIS NEED FIXED NOW. SHE NEED FIRED.

They are ok, never really over-friendly, but Ive never had anyone be outright rude. I usually know what I need and can find it without much help. I wish the cat stuff was closer to the front and not all the way in the back, but that is my biggest complaint at this pount!!

I stopped yesterday to check out their fish selection. I was extremely disappointed... The area definitely had a strong smell, but I was shocked most that every tank was full of snails. I have never seen a snail in the Pet Smart in Zanesville. Disappointed!!
