Horrible experience! I called 2 weeks ago to make appt since our previous excellent groomer has retired. I asked if she had any Westie experience and was told she does 2 or 3 Westies, so decided to give her a try. Waited 2 weeks, our dog was past due for grooming due to us traveling etc. Our dog looks awful. Instead of using a detangler and brushing out as best as possible like other groomers have done, she cut off all our dogs hair! All her leg hair is gone, her skirt is gone, her face is super short with no westie shape or cute beard etc at all! She is choppy and the excuse was the matting. This place has no professional training, should have told us no westie experience, so we could have gone elsewhere! It will take months for our dog to look like a Westie again! My husband had to tell her everything to do and still not done right! Our dog is a beautiful, quality bred Westie and looks terrible! My advice, Dont take your dog here unless you have a mutt and dont care what the cut looks like! So Upset!!!! Also any trained groomer should know you dont shave down a double-coated dog! Westies have double coats for a reason, look up grooming protocol for this type of coat! Shaving can completely destroy the coat! Diff breeds need diff coat care! She has NO idea what she is doing!

Apparently they cut my friends dogs tendon on her leg?? Now the dog has to have surgery and will be lucky to use her leg again.
