The Parkrose Hardware store in Hazel Dell opened in March 2017. However, all but one of the reviews are for the sports equipment store that USED to be at this location. Parkrose Hardware is being unfairly rated for the previous stores poor performance. All of the reviews older than Dean Montgomerys need to be expunged! I had a great experience in this freshly-opened hardware store. Its wonderfully more manageable (smaller) than Home Depot but far larger than the local Ace Hardware stores and with an amazing selection of products at what appeared to me to be pretty decent prices. The employees I spoke to were exceptionally approachable and friendly and seemed quite knowledgeable. (Note that Im not disparaging Filbins Ace Hardware store just a few minutes away which continues to be a top-quality establishment!)

Everytime i am having a hard time finding things they dont help me, but rather say for example "if we have it, then it would be on aisle 6". I have my suspicions that it is the way i am dressed. When i am working on a project i have ny grubby cloths on. To them means poor i gather. The one time i came in after work dresses better, i received good custonwr service that actually helped me look. Nice that it is local for me , but i will drive the extra to go to true value hardware. They take the time to help me find what i need no matter how i am dressed. I dont wear my sunday best to do projects. Get a clue parkrose!

This store does custom orders for hoses and cables etc. Im mixing those two for a custom leash outdoor tie off for my Mastiff that he cannot chew through like regular nylon leash materials. And it should only be $25 total, including shrink wrap over the swage locks on each end. Cant find that at Petco or PetSmart. Love this Hardware company. Easy access doors for mobility devices. Very friendly and helpful staff, some with decades of hands on experience with everything they stock in the store, and more.

This is a poor excuse for a sporting goods store. They only have a limited selection of actual outdoor and sports equipment and mostly focused their inventory on clothing and shoes. Overall I was disappointed when browsing this store and I ended up driving over to Sportsmans warehouse for my purchase.

The most unorganized business ever. The clerks have little or no knowledge of products. The so called management doesnt have a clue and they are rude as well. This business will be gone in no time. They also have a wealth of Chinese garbage. I wish there was an option for negative stars.

You cant find a better hardware store in the area! The staff go way out of their way to help, they have experts in most trades working here to dole out advice, and the hardware section is unmatched. It is really exciting that a fourth location has opened up.

Amazing selection of nearly everything you can want for any number of projects. As much as I love many hardware stores, I think I may have found my true love! Super friendly staff and plenty of parking too.

West side of hazel Dell needed this place so badly. Whatever you need, Parkrose Hardware seems to have the best version of it. I am in big trouble having this in a place where its easy to get to!

Over priced and limited selection and now all stores closing. Anybody with business and common sense saw this coming. Dont hit the sale for a while because they raised prices. Wait..

Dont bother asking for bag for your items because if you do, the cashier gives you the look of death. This place is expensive and pretentious. Im going elsewhere thats for sure.
