The service was pleasant, but they are definitely not the store that used to be at this location. I have been running for thirteen years now, and started thinking that my tried and true shoes were no longer giving me proper support, or the models have changed enough over time to be the right shoe for me, so I dropped into Fleet Feet to have my gait/stride analyzed and to have a new shoe recommended. For what its worth, a long time ago, I was told by a Dr. and another running store in southern California that I needed a motion control shoe for mild-moderate overpronation and have been very happy with my Saucony Omnis. The Fleet Feet salesperson told me that I was using the entirely wrong shoe and that I needed not only a neutral shoe, but also their expensive insoles. Being open-minded and wanting to correct the issues Ive been having, I took his advice, bought both the shoe and insole. So far, Ive put 130 miles on them and have never had more leg pain in my life. I now have sever posterior shin splints after every run in these shoes. The discomfort started early, but I also could tell I was working muscles differently and I wrote it off as the change in my step meant I was working certain muscles more than before and focused on strengthening them. I didnt return them initially because I wanted to give my body an honest chance to adapt and the shin pain didnt start right away. Over the course of about 10 weeks, the pain became more and more extreme and Ive been forced to run less and spend more time in recovery. Now, I can wear my work boots, my old sketcher kicks, my Romeos, and even my old running shoes, but if I put on the shoes this person insisted was the correct shoe (and insole) I get nothing but pain. Ive put way to many miles on them and they have been dirtied too much to return them, but I have come to the conclusion that the salesperson just wanted to get as much money out of me as possible by having me buy a complete new setup and didnt know what he was talking about. Sadly, they got a couple hundred dollars out of me once and I wont be back. I could have returned every three months for a new pair of shoes and spent much more money over time if they would have just taken care of me the way the old shop would have. The only reason Im giving them an extra star is because the staff were friendly and seemed professional and spent a great deal of time with me... even though I now feel that he really just wanted a sale.

The shoes are great, but the service was incredible. If Sarah hasnt earned some sort of end of the year bonus she should have. I can honestly say it was THE MOST pleasant experience I have ever had in a retail store. First, Sarah was knowledgable about the product and the sport. She knew a great deal about the different types of shoes, brands, science and health tips, and about the community around the sport of running. Second, She was amazing at asking great question to evaluate my personal needs/goals/wants and then find the right product for me. The first shoe she picked was the one I ended buying even thought I tried on 3. How is that for expertise? She also dug into my motivation and goals in order fit my needs completely. She also provided a great deal of info on everything around it that I will need as my running ramps up. Lastly and most importantly, SHE CARED! As simple as that statement is, Sarah was incredible in her ability to simply ask a great question, listen intently (and care about my response), and provide insight that guided us to the right product. In any type of sales job (especially retail sales) this one piece is lacking in so many companies and people. To simple care about the people you are serving enough to fit them with the right product.I know that a great employee needs a great environment and management in order to provide the level of service Sarah did, so I want to send a thank you to you folks too. I will definitely be back to pick up additional products as I need them for my running, as well as sending my wife in within the next month to get her a pair of shoes as well. My new shoes feel like a dream and I am incredibly happy with my choice of store, choice of product, and the service provided. So once again, GIVE THAT GIRL A BONUS! (Or at least a raise!)

I just had the best experience at Fit Right! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a female sales person who was busy with someone else, but listened to what I needed and said she would help me as soon as possible. Literally seconds later Nick came over and asked how he could help. I am a walker, nothing special, just a run of the mill stay at home mom who walks a lot. I was treated with exceptional customer care. Nick looked at how I walked and explained exactly what was happening with my feet and why I was in pain. He took a LOT of time explaining how I was walking and what was wrong and how I should be walking. He went through several pairs of shoes and he watched me walking in each pair. After thirty minutes of trying on shoes we found the perfect pair, I could feel the difference immediately. Nick obviously knows what hes talking about, the information and advice I received was awesome. He was very enthusiastic about what he was doing and obviously likes helping people. Whats great, is that with every $200 you spend, you get $20 in store credit. They have an excellent return policy. Im just sorry I didnt go a year ago when my doctor suggested! I would highly recommend Fit Right!

I walked into the store to buy a pair of running shoes. After standing around for at least 10 minutes looking at shoes I was finally approached. I said I wanted to buy a pair of shoes. The guy that helped me (if you can call it that) asked me what size I was. I said 9 1/2. He brought out an 11 and had me try it on. It fit a little big but not bad. I commented that it was a little big and was suprised that he brought out an 11. He said that my foot needs lots of room and this is what he did for a living so he should know what hes talking about. It sounded kind of odd but I said ok, "could I try on a few pair". He left, I assumed to get some shoes, but when he came out of the back room he was on the store phone. He talked for 5-10 minutes easy, and never brought me some shoes. I got fed up and decided to leave. He saw me leaving and asked why I was leaving. I told him I had money in hand ready to make a purchase but was obviouisly less important than the person calling in their order. He said "whatever!".. and I left. Not a place I will return to anytime soon
