After reading great reviews my husband and I dropped off a .9mm Baby Eagle a month and a half ago to have a screw from the grip removed and a new hole tapped. I provided a factory replacement screw and was told they would give us a call in a day or so to give an estimated time frame that it would be done in. We waited just about two weeks before my husband called to check on it, I imagine that they have been busy with other repairs, however my husband has called at least once a week since then. I will not recommend these people due to their lack of customer service and inability to return a simple phone call. Ive left yet another message and am pretty much done waiting, finished or not, Ill find someone else to do it.

Has had my weapon over a month and I cant seem to get a return phone call or email on the status of my weapon. So I cant comment on quality or expertise until the work is done. I will update this review when I find out whats going on. :-( UPDATE :-) OVERALL VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT! The owner called me this morning. My firearm is fixed and ready to go for a very fair price ! He found a problem overlooked by the manufacturer on my brand new gun. The owner also explained that the political environment is causing many slow downs and backlogs in the US firearms and ammunition industries. OCTG are now my go-to gunsmiths near Portland Oregon. Im sure I will be back and I will recommend this Company to my friends and family.

I took a basket case Springfirld 1911 A1 to Bob for a complete redo- accurizing, nite sights, Wilson Components, beavertail, match trigger, brushed hard chrome finish, the works. Took awhile but I will put my beautiful national match grade 1911 up against all comers. The test group that Bob shot was one hole at 50 feet. The total cost even with the original purchase price is still lower than a new Kimber-and a hell of a lot better gun.
