Petco is the only pet store chain in Madera. They offer most everything you could need for your pets, from crates to cat trees, and hamster wheels to fish food. They also offer dog training classes and adoption days with pets in store, as well as a full grooming salon. They support the local animal shelter and the employees are very friendly and knowledgeable.

With 5 dogs and 2 birds of my very own this place is a one stop shop for all my needs, I feed my dogs a healthy diet, no by products for them and Petco sells top of the line food, I feel confident in what I buy there and know my animals are benefited from it.

Everyone is friendly, and knowledgeable about the department. Sometimes there is a wait to get assistance or get answers to the questions you might have. Otherwise its conveniently located on Pacheco along with other shopping stores.

These guys seem to ALWAYS be understaffed. The poor staff runs around like crazy to all the different departments trying to help customers while also trying to keep the line at the cash register moving.
