I bought a GMC Acadia from this location last year and have had nothing but problems. It started a week after I had the suv when the finance guy called me to try and change the terms of my loan, blaming the credit union. within a month of having the suv i had to bring it in for repairs and now 13 months later it has been in for work 10 times and still having issues. I now have a huge water leak. They sold me a "GMC dealer buy back" made it sound like the suv was as good as new and would not have any issues because everything was previously fixed by the GMC factory. LIES!!! i even tried to call the dealership after the 5th or 6th time i had it in for repairs to see if they could do something about the SUV and they said no! I then called GMC myself and they offered me $1500 towards a new trade. even worse...... I owe to much money on this dumb pile of crap to be able to trade it off!! Johnson motors is no help and they lie to sell defective cars! The SUV was not worth what I paid for it and now I am stuck with a pile of junk for almost $18,000!!! and I keep having to dump money into it! I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE EVERY AGAIN. NOR WILL I EVER REFER ANYONE HERE!! If you are looking to buy from them RUN!!! and do not listen to the lies they tell you about their cars.

1. Over all the whole experience was ok. I went to this dealership and test drove a car, talked some numbers to which the salesman didnt seem to object to, then made an appointment so my significant other could see the car. On the day of the appointment when it came to discussing payments, it seemed like what we had previously talked about was forgotten. When I told him the monthly payment I was comfortable with paying he seemed hostile, almost laughed in my face and made me feel stupid. Even though I quoted him a higher price than what was previously talked about. Before I told him my price he was very nice and after i held my ground at the price i wanted he was also fine, just negotiating prices left a sour taste in my mouth. 2. Bought my car, as is, on a Saturday for over $11,000. On Tuesday a light comes on that looks like my gas cap is off and/or loose (its not, buy a new gas cap anyhow, possible easy fix). On Wednesday while driving, the car shuts off for no apparent reason, it did turned right back on after I pulled over. It is now a week and a half after buying the vehicle and no other incidents. I just hoped an $11,000 dollar car wouldnt cause me worry or have to spend any money to fix it for a good year.

I found the Explorer I wanted on their website and left contact information so I could get more information. To my surprise I got a call the next morning and was transferred to a sales representative to get more details. I spoke with Christy and she was very accommodating getting me the extra pictures I wanted, even measuring the tread depth for me. We set an appointment for Friday afternoon and the Explorer was as nice as described. I am a careful shopper and she was able to answer all of my questions. Now comes to tough part... I took along time to decide and spent some time talking with the sales manager so it was well after 5 when I decided to take the truck. I asked her what time she was done work and she say it didnt matter she would stay until the final paperwork was done. The office was closing a deal before me so by the time we finished my paperwork it was 7pm. They give me a bucket to clean out my old Explorer and filled the gas tank a the new one so I was ready to make the 2 1/2 hr trip home. Their service was worth the drive!! I sent in a contact message about test driving a vehicle that my husband and I found on the website, the next morning I had a call from Jenna about setting up a time so that everything was ready to go when I got to Johnson. She told me to ask for Jess or Chad and she would let them know ahead of time so the vehicle was ready to go. Jess Paulson is the BEST!!!! From the minute I walked into Johnson Motors in New Richmond, WI she greeted me like we were old friends. She was very friendly and walked me through everything during the car buying. Ashley from finance jumped through hoops to help me get the financing to go through fast so that I was able to leave with the car that day. These ladies were both so helpful and efficient and made the process of purchasing a car so easy and fun for me. I appreciate all their hard work and look forward to doing more business with them in the future.

We purchased our GMC Terrain in September of 2012, and can say nothing but good/great things about the Johnson sales and service staff. We have not had any issues with the car, but there have been questions and Matt in service has been very patient and listened to our concerns, and then had his staff take care of all our needs. I would recommend Johnson Motors to anyone looking for a new or different vehicle, or requiring service or maintenance information and help. The entire staff at Johnson has always been there for us, and on one occasion the retired owner stopped by the waiting room and welcomed/thanked all of us. After he left, none of us, who had ever met him, discussed how that visit really made us feel welcome and like family. Garbage dealership. Was pre-approved for a loan with our bank outside of the dealership. Our salesman Case was very helpful however James is a piece of work. Tried accusing my wife and I of lying that our bank had ever approved a loan. They denied us the car we wanted. We have taken our business to Suburban Chevrolet as we are now staying away from any small, local dealerships. Also I will add that he wouldnt call our bank or anything to verify the approval letter we had. Johnson Motors just gave up over $22,000 as we were planning on purchasing the 2016 Chevy Malibu Lt. Hope you guys are happy with James because he obviously doesnt know how to treat customers and to accuse my wife and I of lying is bullshit.

I am happy to tell you that I have had the best experience with Jess Paulson at Johnson Motors in New Richmond. She went over and above to get me the vehicle I wanted and in the price range. Within less then 24 hours later she called me back with the details and what she had for the options for me! Happy to announce I got a great deal and the financing was fabulous too thanks to James Stabe as he assisted with the Financing.. I will for sure refer any friends and or family to Johnson Motors! Jess has kept in touch with me to see if I had any questions or needed anything! Jess was super awesome to work with, she was a ROCK STAR!!
