I have to say this was the best purchasing experience of a vehicle that I have ever had. The staff was terrific. We felt bad the first time visiting Stillwater Motors, we did not realize that they were closed a little while before we arrived. Mike, the sales manager was there and greeted us as though we were there during business hours and took time to talk to us and find out what we were looking for. I had an 8 year old Chevy Avalanche that was still a great truck, but I was looking for a new one. They no longer make the Avalanche so I was looking at the Silverado. We looked around for a while, with no pressure to leave from Mike. The following Friday I sent out a flurry of emails through a web site to several dealerships outlining what I was looking for. Steve Step from Stillwater replied to us. I explained that we had spoken to Mike the previous Saturday. Mike remembered us and what we were looking for down to the color that I fell in love with. Within a short time they shot us back a price on a beautiful Silverado High Country edition. My husband and I took the Avalanche down to find out trade in value. We were only on the lot for a short time and knew what the trade in was going to be and the price of the High Country. Being that I was researching pricing we headed out to run a few errands and visit a couple other dealerships. The other dealerships were very high pressure and trying to sell me on a truck that was not what I wanted. We called Steve back 45 minutes from closing to say we were going to purchase the High Country from them. We raced back to the dealership and finalized a few things, like adding the running boards and a bed cover, went over financing with Brian, which they also beat the pre qualified pricing we had, and set up to pick the truck up on Monday evening after work. I cannot believe the ease of this purchase. They were fair in both the price of my new truck and the trade in value of my Avalanche, I had figured out how much I would have to finance before going into the purchase. Very friendly and made me feel like my business was important to them, I wish I would have checked them out 8 years ago when I bought the Avalanche (that purchase was a nightmare) I would recommend that if you are in the market for a vehicle that you would give these men and women a chance, the dealership is clean and friendly. And they really do want to help you get into the vehicle that is right for you.

My son & I bought a used 2013 Chevy Sonic 5 speed from Stillwater Motors about a month ago. When we went to test drive it, there was a noise in the front end which i asked about numerous times & was told they would fix it. Im no mechanic, but something was definitely wrong but when we went to purchase it, the salesman said they repaired it. Within 2 weeks, the noise was back, so we took it to my dealership elsewhere to be checked out & they said that the inner beads were showing on all 4 tires, the radiator seal was leaking, needed new brakes & the left front wheel bearing was extremely bad & needed to be replaced soon & would need a timing belt as well. In fact, my son had brought it to a tire shop for a possible air leak & the shop told him he needed to buy new tires, they were at dangerous tread level & inner beads were showing. New tires were bought. Now we bought this vehicle AS IS, but to sell someone a car knowing the basics to operate a car are not functioning properly & dangerous to drive is wrong! I called & spoke to the general manager & he said that he wanted to work with us but quoted us an absurd price! He told me they made over $1100 in repairs in the front end, struts. But, yet, they failed to see the rest of the needed repairs? We went to 3 other places including my dealership which is also Chevy & they were $300-700 cheaper than Stillwater Motors. Now, we are stuck with this car & havent even made the 1st payment & have over $1500 in repairs which my son cannot afford all at one time. We bought a 2nd car so it would be easier on us with our schedules, which we are now regretting. I am absolutely appalled by their low standards of professionalism.

It was my first time there and it was a pretty average-below average experience. My advisor was nice while checking me in, but other than him, the vibe was not really welcoming for someone there for the first time. When I walked in to retrieve my car, I was bluntly told to go to the cashier (not necessarily an intuitive thing when its your first time at a dealer, as not all dealers operate the same way, but the tone with which the guy said it seemed clear that he thought I was stupid for not intuitively knowing where to go). I didnt even know where the cashier was, so I had to ask that too because in his blunt response, it didnt occur to him that I might not know where it was. My previous Chevy service provider would always give me an overview of what services were performed and then would ask if I had any questions. I would have appreciated something like that, especially considering I came in for an oil change and received a call halfway through informing me that I needed to purchase 4 new tires and spent a lot more than I anticipated. They left a number on my bill for me to call if I had questions. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, as I came in right before a holiday weekend, and everyone gets burned out sometimes, but even on the worst day, you are always giving a first impression to someone. In this case, the experience was meh. I didnt feel like employees were striving to earn my business again.

I am very disappointed in the quality and effort provided by your service staff. The auto butler quality is far below expectations. I could have received a better wash and wax across the street at Pony or Mister car wash (which I have). I went back into to speak with someone regarding this matter. Frankly, it did not even look like the car was cleaned. It looked as if the paper foot mat was placed in the car as a decoy and the car sat outside from 7am drop off until I picked it up at 530. I would like to further mention your staff does not have a grasp on etiquette of any manner. The comment by the gentleman was "you get what you pay for". Is that a fact? Well, I could pay less and receive better quality without the snide remarks. This is not the only time I have had issues with this establishment. I have numerous times contacted the managers and even the owner. But to no avail. The hometown loyalty is nonexistent at this location despite my multiple purchases at this dealership. The service shop has gone downhill. The only exception is that I am very happy with my vehicle. I just know I will not purchase no have another vechicle at this location. Feel free to contact me.
