Ive never written a review on anything before, but felt I needed to share my experience. I bought a used Chrysler Town and Country here a couple months ago. The salesman (Alaina) was great, but she no longer works there. I had done my research and knew what I was looking for and Hudson Chrysler had the best price that I had found. The vehicle had a rip in the leather seat and they said that I could make an appointment and service would take care of it. I traded in my old car and didnt get as much as I would have like for it - They said they couldnt go any higher because my Check Engine Light was on. The lady doing the financing was a little misleading, making it seem like I needed to purchase some extra stuff, but that isnt where my complaints are. After everything was done and we got into the vehicle, we drove across the parking lot to Dunn Bros Coffee (the parking lots are literally connected). It hadnt been detailed very thoroughly - It wasnt a disaster or anything, but when you buy a vehicle, you expect it to be really clean. On our way over there, the Check Engine Light turned on. So, we drove it back and had them check it out. The sales manager said it wasnt a big deal and that it had a "perfect inspection." He checked it out quick and turned the light off. I started my drive home and a couple miles later, it turned on again. I called and made an appointment the next day to get the rip in the leather patched and have them take care of the CEL. I dropped off the vehicle and they gave me a loaner. I was told that they had to replace a cylinder. Im no mechanic or anything, but I dont think theres any way it could have a "perfect inspection" while needing a cylinder replaced. I drove back the next day to get the van. I looked inside of it and noticed right away that they didnt fix the rip in the leather. I asked service about it and they blamed sales. I asked to talk to a sales manager and he blamed service. I expressed my concerns to the sales manager and he basically told me that there was nothing that I or he could do about it. He also said that they would detail it again. So, I drove back home (I live an hour away) in the rental van and they made arrangements to have one of their drivers drop my car off, which was a nice gesture I suppose. When the guy dropped it off, it hadnt been cleaned at all like the sales manager said it would be. Since then I havent had any other issues. I liked the sales lady and the service writer was also very nice. But overall my experience here was not very good at all and every manager that I spoke with was condescending and did not want to hear about my issues. They took care of all the issues that they needed to free of charge, but it was a major headache. I dont have a whole lot of experience buying used vehicles, but I wont be buying my next vehicle here or recommending this place to anyone.

I purchased a Dodge Charger last year along with the service package for a sum of close to $20,000. Ill be honest, the buying process was great. I thoroughly enjoy my vehicle and the service department is excellent. I was a huge fan of this dealer for over a year after purchasing my Charger. Unfortunately, heres where my relationship with them went sour... I called to see if there would be any interest in my Jeep that I didnt need anymore. I was told, "Sure, bring it down and well give it a look and throw you an offer". I brought it in, waited about 40 minutes for them to do their thing (test drive, inspect, run comparisons, etc.). To make a long story short, they came back and gave me an offer of $3,000 for a very, very nice Jeep that they would put on the lot for $9,000. This was nearly $2,000 under what NADA said was the trade in value. On top of that, I had invested over $1,500 in the vehicle in the last two months on tires and repairs which they were aware of. Without causing a scene, I left immediately. After not hearing back from anybody (they had my information, both phone number and email address), I wrote an email a few days later highlighting my thoughts in an effort to give them an opportunity to rectify the situation and keep a positive relationship. The response I was given was, essentially, "Come back in and let me show you why I gave you that valuation". So, expecting me to drive all the way back in to hear you kick my tires and justify your lowball offer is the best they could give me? No thanks. I took it to a dealership in Eau Claire a few days later and was offered $4,500 for it. Still low (in my opinion), but much, much more reasonable. I would recommend buying from them, but do NOT try to trade in or sell them a vehicle. Youd be better off donating it to charity as opposed to donating it to them.

Horrible product. Bought a 2007 ford fusion and 3 days after purchase the check engine light comes on. They said dont worry about it. 6 months after purchase unhooked the battery for 24 hours to reset the sensor and it wouldnt drive. 1 year after purchase check tranny oil and its creamy red (wish I would have remembered to check it before I purchased it because I bet it was already that color.). 2 years after purchase car runs at 4000 rpms at 55 mph and ford cant figure out what is wrong. Pretty sure these guys realize that had a crappy car and just wanted to get it of there hands. Awfully suspicious when the cars check engine light comes on right after purchase. And when I pointed out that the light switch was gorilla glued back on and looked like garbage instead of fixing it they just lowered the price a little bit so I should have known they were a half a$$ car company. I would have got my money back in those first couple days but I didnt have another car and had no other way to get to work. And when I pointed out that the light switch was gorilla glued back on and looked like garbage instead of fixing it they just lowered the price a little bit so I should have known they were a half a$$ car company. I will never buy another vehicle from Luther too untrusting...

My wife and I went to Hudson Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep specifically looking for an advertised Mercury Mariner. As a very loyal Ford owner for 20 plus years we were disappointed to find out that specific vehicle had been sold. The salesman Tom Jensen asked us about our needs and suggested we check out a 2009 Subaru Tribeca. We took it for a drive and were pleasantly surprised with the vehicle. We had actually looked at Outbacks a couple weeks earlier. We ended up driving it home that day. We got a fair price for our trade up front, which we appreciated. The finance department got us a great rate and everyone treated us with respect and honesty. We shopped a "buy happy" dealer a few weeks ago and left that establishment not so happy with the treatment we received. We are definitely fans of this dealership and will tell all our family and friends in the market for vehicles to visit Hudson. Just a couple of suggestions though, a military discount for active, reserve/guard and retirees would be nice and sending you home with a full tank of gas, otherwise an all around positive experience.
