The security guard was a ****. Im sorry for the language but I mean in this day in age I couldnt believe what he did. I used to work for a Safeway and their moto was Ingredient for life with pictures of every race in the ad. My and my friends are not from this area, we stop to get some bait for out crabbing trip at Fort Baker. While some friends went inside, some of us stayed out side and waited. We were then approached by the guard and he told us what were we doing out here, we then told him that we were basically waiting for some friends who went in to buy some stuff. He then told us that as soon as they came out, he wanted us to leave. I mean did we even do anything wrong? He then proceeded to write down all of our license plate, walked back in the store, waited for my friends to pay, and escorted them out. He then stood there, stared us down like we werent humans. This is a very bad customer service skill.

I loved the experience as far as shopping goes. Excellent options when it comes to food, drink, beer, wine and liquor. As far as the checkout process goes it was absolutely horrible. I waited on line to check out two six packs of beer for 45 mins (I know, I should have just left! ). There were two registers open in the entire place, not counting the self service registers. Even the 15 items or less counters were closed. At the self service registers we werent able to check ourselves out because the rule is that you need to be at a register with a staff member to buy any form of alcohol (meanwhile any normal place allows you to scan the booze at the self checkout counter and then a staff member comes over to check your ID). The cashier was SLOW, SLOW, SLOW! This dude was absolutely pathetic, meanwhile theres a line down to the other side of the store. Horrible experience, Ill never come again.

Rude staff! I was at the deli section and I got ignored 2 times in one day! At first the woman saw me and was working on something taking her sweet time, then this woman walked up next to me and she rushed over to help her! This happened twice... What do you expect for Safeway I guess!

Its safeway. Poor quality food. For some reason their prices are now about the same as whole foods and some higher - are marin safeways charging more? Bakery is just crp. Lines long with unmotivated staff. You got to be ok with average to like it here

They charge for grocery bags. Was in from out of town and had no knowledge of this. I dunno, seemed unfair to charge my broke ass for three items, so I awkwardly waddled back to my hotel with my purchases a quarter mile away to avoid the surcharge.

We have shopped a CMTC Safeway for years. The staff is always right there and helpful. Aways have fresh food at the ready. Need something special boom off the clerk goes returning with the treasured item. Thanks guys.

They have employees, with limited proficiency in english, processing food/sandwhich orders and they get orders wrong frequently. Other than that, this is a great establishment.

Best sushi to eat in Corte Madera, if needed a custom sushi just ask the sushi chef, they also do platters for parties.
