A "big-box" grocery store with actual variey! Quality: The food is very good here. They have a nice organic section, and everything sold is in great condition. Appeal: This is the biggest and best stocked grocery store in Pacifica. Service: Fantastic. The employees go out of their way to make sure you have what you need. Ive even talked 1:1 with the manager about stocking things I want to buy reguarly and seen it happen. Vegan/Veggie: VERY GOOD! At the back of the produce section there is a cooler of "Convenience" foods. Thats where you will find your tofu and alternative meats. The produce section itself has great depth. I always feel happy as my cart fills with a wide variety of fruits and veggies. Its never going to be a Whole Foods, but it doesnt cost as much and you dont have to drive far to get to Safeway. I do 95% of my vegan shopping here.

Have lots of patience...The lines are super slow, the clerks just take their time. I wonder if theyre ever going to put in self check out stands. And in the deli area, one thing that really gets me is putting hot food in paper bags that are brown paper lunch bags that arent going to hold. Use proper hot food bags that are lined inside with aluminum and made for hot wings, roasted chicken, etc.

I dont know what is up with Safeway but the management in inexperienced. The last store manager Cindy treatment of the workers was a dictatorship. Now this new manager latisha is two faced lieing peace of work that thinks her friends are entitled to special prices and treatment. Workers arent there to work for management they are there to work with management. It a team concept.

Have you ever been to a Safeway? They are all pretty similar. This one has a nice assortment of organic fruits and vegetables. The have a small "ethnic" section, as well as gluten free options. There is also Starbucks inside. All in all, its a safeway, its what you expect.

Lines too long than they used to be...better. Have plenty of time...even if not buying much..most of the time..Worst is new store in Pacifica..Ca....so many displays. In isle...2 people going in opposite directions..have to wait...insane

This Safeway is always understaffed. The workers are severely stressed. The lines are always too long and if you have to go to this location...... go Early! Nothing ever changes. I go to other locations. Good luck
