Easily one of worst run Safeways Ive ever been. First the girl at the sandwich counter took forever to make 4 sandwiches for the guy in front of me, then when he wanted her to ring it up in two bills it confused the heck out of her even though it looked simple enough to me as the customer put it in two nice neat piles for her to ring as two transactions. So she had to call a manager over. Finally since it took so long she asked for help for me and another comes to me make my sandwich. I order the $5 sandwich, drink and chips deal as advertised right there, and he makes it and wraps it up and does not bother to heat it. The ad for the sandwich deal I exactly ordered says "Served Hot", so he unwraps and heats it. I take it all to the 15 item line as the sandwich girl and manager were still trying to unwind the guy before me issue and the register was locked up for that. On the 15 item line some bozo tries to buy 8 bottles of wine and two 10-item boxes of power bars. Instead of scanning one bar and then entering the quantity of the bars (or scanning the box?) she literally scans one bar over and over again like 20 times! Then after the transaction is over the customer looks at the receipt and sees she did not properly apply the 50% off as per the bright red 50% off sticker on each bottle. So off to find the manager she goes. Then when she rings me up she charges me $5.99 for the sandwich and charges me for my chips too. Then when I ask about the $5 sandwich deal she gives me attitude that I did not tell HER about my sandwich deal (the sandwich bar people told me it would reconcile when I entered my Club Card, which I had already done). Geez! 30+ minutes to get in and out of there for just a frickin sandwich when I was second in line! Bad training and bad management and employees who dont know how to solve issues or get help. And here I am writing a review for a Safeway! Sheesh.

No stars if I could. Always have to wait in line because these Marinities who own it dont want to pay for more workers. I wait 10 minutes in the deli isle and finally someone came and then helped in the wrong section and when finally he was on his way to me this other woman who claims to have been there first tried to get his help, even after the other worked motioned to help me. They arent organized I feel like Im a inconvienance. Wish I didnt have to go there but there isnt much to eat in this shopping center thats the only place close to my work. So lame

They usually have everything youre looking for. Produce, meat, deli section is descent. There no propane tank replacement/refill here. Thats odd, as is no Wi-Fi for shoppers, since the cell coverage is poor inside the shop. The staff are the reason this place is great! They are so warm and know where everything is located. They know their regular shoppers and make you feel at home. Theyre amazing!

They have what you need, parking is nice, and its easy to get to. The people who work there are friendly and they seem to always be fully stocked. Careful what time you go there because it might be flooded with high school students and you might wait 20 mins just to check out. One negative is they dont have self check-out.

Im located by tam high school and this is the location I drive to if I dont feel like going to the strawberry location. Selection is ok, but the other location is a lot better and its only a few miles away. Also, the place looks like its been given up on compared to its better location. Needs a little TLC.

Worst safeway Ive been in. Need to always check the expiration dates as Ive seen old food several times. Very slow long lines. Forget about them opening another register. Prices are really no better than whole foods. Dirty old feel. Please convert it to a Trader Joes.

They have some very nice cashiers (eg. Mary and Tuvet), but they need to remove the sign that says that a new register will open whenever more than 3 people are waiting. Lines 6-8 people long are common, so dont go when you are in a hurry.

My neighborhood Safeway does pretty well for such a small space. The staff is friendly and the lines move along. Just watch out for when the schools let out or the high schoolers have lunch. It can be a zoo.

Sometimes the lines can get a little long because the store is understaffed, but in general its fantastic to have such an affordable place in town and the cashiers have always been so pleasant and polite.

Its rather expensive and its the same products Safeway carries in most of their stores. The selection is also rather limited for a store thats a decent sized. Will not be going back.

Its a good place to get supplies, I highly recommend to join the club (its not a credit card) to access discounts.

Freezing temp all thought the store. Poor stocking of basic items (e.g. Deli meat). The only positive. No line :)

Always busy. This store needs more cashier in busy time. Please add self cashier like Strawberry Safeway
