Fruit and veggies are extremely inexpensive here and are generally fresh. A Chinese grocery store with an amazing variety of food (e.g. 10 types of bok choy and exotic fruits) so you can experiment with trying new fruits and snacks. They also have a great selection of vegetarian fake meats in the freezer section at good prices. The black pepper veggie chicken is my favorite.

Come here for a Chinese supermarket experience, with a full meat and seafood selection. You can select your favorite fish for them to clean and/or fillet to bring home and cook or grab a lobster and more. Lots of snack selections as well.

I have been going to the Sunset Super when it was the Fairlane Market and since. Its not Fairlane but a great market for my neighborhood. Generally, the quality is good and the prices great. People are pretty friendly.

I enjoy shopping at this supermarket because there are lots of ingredients that I cant find anywhere else, except Chinatown. This is closer to my house, and I can cook up meals that have just the right ingredients.

Great location if I need to pick up a common ingredient in a hurry. They do not sell any raw meats, and have a limited selection of sauces/spices. Usually not my first choice, but sometimes they have what I need.

Just tried their uni here. Came home to underwhelming results. I would recommend the produce and short ribs(think Korean style) sometimes goes on sale for $2.5-$3.5 a lb.
