Its much more of a pleasant atmosphere when I shop here during the week because the staff is much friendlier. I checked out around 4:40pm today and the cashier was very rude. She didnt acknowledge me and just started scanning my items and was trying to take an item from my son until I told her it was mine, which was obvious because it wasnt packaged. And I have no problem with being asked but she wasnt going to ask but was just going to take it from him. I then started giving her items from the cart to be somewhat helpful and her response was..."Uhhmm yeah." Maybe I was getting in her nerves or maybe it was my 1yr old when he started crying but either way a fake smile would have been nice instead of just a look of annoyance. She gave me the receipt and I told her thank you!! She said nothing. The rudeness is almost laughable but it wasnt and Im not coming back on the weekend because it appears the teenagers arent interested in being bothered. This is a shame because I love this grocery store and Ive been going for the past 5 years.... Change isnt always bad.

If I could could give them zero stars, I would. On several occasions Ive brought home items from here only to find out they are already moldy or have gone bad. Everything is overpriced. I have gone in several times just to pick up a couple very basic, simple things (vanilla for baking, cole slaw, peanuts, pizza sauce) only for them to be completely out of stock every single time Im there. There are very few actual options available in the brands of things you might want to purchase, or they dont offer the variety that Ive seen at other supermarkets in the area. The parking lot is poorly designed. I could go on and on. Instead, Im just never going back and would recommend others try elsewhere. Its too bad that this is one of the few conveniently located options in Brier Creek because it is that awful. I will go out of my way from now on to take my business elsewhere.

Overall this a good grocery store for the area. Its not very large, some places are cramped, and the non-aisle sections (especially the bakery and deli area) really need professional help. I come from a locale where Wegmans is king and they KNOW how to merchandise their products. If you want to have a disappointing chuckle, head over to the tomatoe stand where they shine a red light down onto the tomatoes and take one of the tomatoes to another area. You will, most likely, notice that the tomatoes are not red, but rather an unripened pink. I dont appreciate subterfuge. Do they expect their clientele to be idiots? Also, be careful about the fresh cut fruit for $9 a pound! Anyway, it is my go to grocery store but I have become very attentive to how they peddle their wares. Good luck!

This food store has a security officer that follow people around the store and watch them. He did it to me. I also watched one of the managers(older gentleman) watch a child push a childs cart filled with food as if the child had stolen groceries. Ironically, I saw the parents go into the check out line and purchase the groceries. I asked the cashier why was the older gentlemen watching the child and not looking at the receipt that the parents had in their hand, and the cashier stated " He can do that!" To make matters worst, I had to return nuts packaged by the grocery store because they were old. I also noticed their meats are old because of the heavy bleeding around the meat and when I pressed down on a package of ground turkey, blood flowed out of the meat.

For the past 4 years, Ive been in here at least twice a week. Always a pleasant staff. The store is always neat and clean. I LOVE the remodeling that they have done. Their muffins are amazing and so is their chicken salad and fried chicken. They also have an amazing salad bar!! Meat prices are on the high end, but they often have a 25% off meat sale. When lines are backed up, they quickly jump someone else on a register. 2 thumbs up!! Oh....I havent seen any of the smaller carts my last 2 times there, so I really hope they havent gotten rid of them! **fingers crossed**

Nice layout, clean, and in a good location. Good prices and good selection. A lot of very friendly and helpful staff are around all the time. Especially one fantastic cashier Alex. Ive been to this store around 6 times and hes been my cashier for at least half of those. Hes like one of the friendliest, nicest, knowledgeable competent people Ive ever met; he even remembered me! Hes easy to talk to and is a grade-a cashier who makes shopping fun. Give this man a raise!

I mainly visit this location for their salad bar, which has a nice selection of items. The prices are decent, better than fast food. What I have noticed is that if you do not go there during peek lunch hours (before 1:30) the salad bar has not been replenished. Either the lettuce, tomatoes and spinach are wilted or sparse as with other selections. I have also seen rotten tomatoes several times. Otherwise the quality overall is exceptional.

I love the fact that Lowes promotes local products and suppliers. Natural and organic options, great bakery, significant selection of beers and wines, and a staff that is always welcoming and obliging. While they arent the least expensive store around, theyre also not the most expensive. The new make-over has brought the store a long way. Theres very little to want for here, and this will always be my base store. Thank you, Lowes!

Strangely bad produce. Shop here regularly since its so close but FREQUENTLY buy veggies that are bad inside. Last week, watermelon ...total mush. Month before..onion, rotten inside, before that, rotten apple with no sign of it from outside. Also...prices get raised before weekly 2:1 specials. Upside...nice staff and offer smaller, more nimble shopping carts.

One of the best grocery stores in the Brier Creek Area. Very well maintained and the quality of food, vegetables, bread etc. is great. A little expensive than Food Lion but on the other hand very convenient if you are living in the Brier Creek Area. The staff is very helpful and they have some activities going on every weekend.

Clean store, attractive presentation, great selection. Friendly, helpful staff. Only negative for me is the small selection of organic produce is relatively expensive compared to the greater selection and better pricing than Im used to at the Harris Teeter where I usually shop.

Hats off for Lowes Foods for their big support local produce program. I just stopped in to pick up one of the NC local owned products for a Holiday party. "Michaels Best Gourmet Ice Cream" made right out of Sanford NC. It was a big hit at the party and did not last long.

This was a nice surprise. Good store with well arranged and neatly merchandised. The staff was super friendly here. The loyalty points system with Lowes card is cool little perk to shop here! Overall, I was very pleased with my experience here.
