So i went today to buy fish for my daughter... and went i asked the guy for a fish he immidiatedly ask what king of aquarium i had without even askin what kind of fish i wanted... i said i didnt have one... sonhe said for all of our fish you have to have an aquarium so he turns around and walks away... so in other words i couldnt get her a fish because i didnot have an aquarium... this was very rude since ive always bought fish from petco and never had an aquarium... and my fish has lasted years... and having relatives working at other petco stores they said he was suppost to sell me the fish... he did not even have to ask if i had or not an aquarium... very bad customer service!!!

I am in the process of buying a lab pup for my autistic son. As I entered the store I asked about food and kennels. The lady at the checkout walked and explained about puppy food and what ingredients to look for and what to stay away from, even the treats. I will not EVER go any where else to bring, train or service my dog. They are very friendly and helpful. Ty for the instructions.

The first time I brought my dogs they did just fine. The last time I brought them here, 3 dogs in total, I picked them up with nicks and cuts all over their legs, necks and ears. They seemed so stressed when I picked them up. It could have just been a bad day for the groomer, but I will not be bringing them back.

Bought a lion fish. Died 2 days latter. Went back to speak with them and was told the fish in that system have been sick with ich for several months. Why didnt they tell me this before I bought him? He infected my whole 70 gallon tank. 280 Dollars in fish down the drain. Will never go back for any reason

Very good store. Great products. A bit pricy but they do have some great sales. A good knowledgeable staff to help you with all of your needs. Great adoption programs and they do have a fund that operates to help animals. I most definitely recommend this business to anyone and everyone.

I can usually find what I need here though it is a bit more expensive than a general store that sells the same items. You can bring your pet inside though and get a fitting for a collar, leash, or harness. You can let them sniff the toys and treats to be able to choose what they want.

I take my dog here weekly to get her treats from the little treat buffet! Many aquatic pets, lots of furry friends, very clean. Would suggest buying basic pet supplies at Walmart or dollar stores for better prices. Besides that I enjoy the well educated and friendly staff.

Great pet store- has all of the essentials and employees are usually very nice and helpful. You can bring your pet in with you to shop. Usually cats there for adoption from local rescues. Offers grooming and has small pets for sale such as hamsters, birds, fish and more

Great selection. Most items are over priced compared to some online vendors for larger items. Pet litter is cheaper than most. Large selection of products for most household pets, and high quality merchendice make up for the cost differences in most cases.

The store always looks clean and neat, and the staff are very friendly and nice to my dog even though he is skittish. The Vetco staff are always competent and nice as well, and it is convenient that they come to the store every 2 weeks.
