The employees here are nice and the store was neatly organized. However, I came to look at pet rats. They had 2 rats in a small cage with a homemade cardboard igloo. The cage was about 1/3 of the size of the cage the Petco on Orchard Lake is using for their rats. I asked to see the rats. The employee did not have information about their age, only about their breed. The rats were dirty, and had smudges of feces in their fur. They were sluggish. When I reached in to pet them, they laid still - they didnt shy away nor did they sniff my hand. What Im saying is, they appeared to be very ill. I havent visited other Pet Supplies Plus stores, so I cant comment on them, but I would not recommend purchasing a pet from this store. This is as of October 2015, and things may change with changes in employees/managers. Shop here with caution, is what I am saying.

My dog was having digestive issues and I decided to stop in and see what the employee should suggest. Very nice lady gave me a new brand of food and some canned pumpkin. Less than 24 hours my greyhound was acting normal again and everything was perfect again. Great staff that actually know what theyre talking about and not just trying to push a specific brand. Will only come here from now on.

I walked in not even knowing if fish were animals, after a brief conversation with a worker I knew that not only were they animals, but that they were evil creatures full of hate and spite. Except for goldfish, they have no souls. Thank you alexander morris for your excellent service and knowledge of the depths of the fish psyche.

Better prices than Petco or Petsmart. Super friendly staff. Dont buy live fish here, though. They always look sick. I bought a live moss ball from one of their tanks and my pristine tank became infested with worms. Otherwise, LOVE this place and staff. Parking lot is kinda tight so be careful pulling in.

This place is terrible. Everytime I come here I have a situation getting feeder fish. I left feedback before about staff not helping customers but, today was aweful. I stood & watched staff catch 48 rosie reds for 15 mins & about 12 of the fish were dead. I am so done with this place

Always helpful staff. Manager came to assist in delivery setup / never an attitude/ just a nice and friendly place to shop/ speaking with staff and delivery fellow is like taking to a friend ,never rushing or cant wait to get rid of you. GREAT JOB. Keep it up

Just got the best service ever. A really nice guy carried my 20lb bag of cat food to the register for me and then offered to take it out to my car. After a recent knee injury, this was REALLY appreciated! Staff is always nice and friendly. Love this place!

Friendly service, keeps a wide variety of foods and toys available. Dont have a dog but I hear good things about the dog training. Have a lot of options for healthy pet food, natural, organic, grain free and the like. Been going for years.

They have a huge selection of food choices for pets of all sorts, and there are always a lot of employees walking around to help you carry your purchase to your car or find the right item. Weekly pet clinics on Sundays are a huge plus!

Was talking to an associate who was promoting their brand. Very knowledgeable and passionate about the food and trying to inform customers. Cashiers were friendly and efficient. Will try the food and see how my older dog handles it.

Big variety and well stocked. Took the time to print our tags after their 9PM closing time. The cashier waited with us while the tags were being made and was very nice to our dog - petting her and giving her a treat (after asking).

Hands down the best place to go for supplies. There are closer places to my home ( Petco) but Im always disappointed in their prices as well as they never have exactly what I want. My cat ( and now dog ) both are picky eaters.
