Went in today and had horrible customer service. An older woman named Stacey was so terrible. She was rude to me and my children she told me to "just be quiet" and "wait stop talking because im going to talk to my manager"....I cant explain how rude she was and I would never expect that from someone who looks as calm as she does. If I could give this no stars I would. I was trying to get a fish tank and she was trying to argue me down about the sale. when I said the sign was still out there so she had to honor it she told me no she did not and she to speak her manager so I HAD to wait . She was very snappy and even raised her voice at me like I was a problem. Luckily Carlos was there and he took over my transaction. he was very nice and soft spoken he helped me pick out a fish tank and even carried it out to my car for me. He apologized for Staceys actions which really made me feel better about the situation. YOU NEED TO HIRE MORE PEOPLE LIKE CARLOS. He was the absolute best and even convinced me to buy my big old dogs some treats. So Carlos get 5 hundred stars from me.

THIS LOCATION IS THE BEST PETCO IVE EVER BEEN IN its huge, and all the reptile and aquatic stuff is right towards the front of the store, they have grooming and pet meetings and cat adoptions available, and a cute little cookie cart for dog treats, and such a huge selection of aquatic and reptile items, way bigger than the 11 + Dequindre location. Love it!!! Only issue is they dont carry medium super worms in the 70ct containers which is kiiind of frustrating? (unless they only stock like two containers every week and somebody else goes in the second the order is dropped off to buy them, but doubtful since I try to get there every Friday.... which is order day......... anyway. I digress.) BUT OTHERWISE: GREAT LOCATION, PLEASE COME VISIT, ITS SO NICE INSIDE.

I bought 4 black fin tetras and 8/1/16 and now today on 8/6/16 they are all dead I returned one this morning and got my water tested to see if they were sick....they werent. Later on that day I came home from work and the other 3 were dead so I went up there to return them and the sales associate whos name was STACEY was so rude to me I never want to go in there again. I was laughing trying to make light of the situation and she said and I quote "quit laughing because its not funny"......She truly had me confused to who she was speaking to...HORRIBLE CUSOMER SERVICE....I will gladly never buy fish from there again.

I go into this store sometimes twice a week. I buy fish for my turtle to eat. And every time I go Stacey is so very rude. Its to the point that if shes there I dont want her service. Nathan is a very nice manager. But if I only had to deal with Stacey I would not buy from that store. Shes very disrespectful and she does not care about her behavior. She maybe a little racist. Always says I dont care call corporate. Nathan and the other employees are the only reason Im giving two stars. I can say that she brings that whole store down.

This place is awesome!!! Great service, great groomers they know Daisy by name and she actually runs to them when she gets there!! I never need to remind them how to cut her hair or what services I need. BIts a perfect cut every time! Melissa is not only a great groomer but she takes the time to explain how Daisy was during her visit and provides advice on her health. Daisy is on a special diet and Melissa has provided suggestions on vitamin and supplements that have helped Daisy too! I wouldnt take my dogs to any other groomer!!!

I would highly recommend this Petco on 8 Mile and Woodward, because of Amanda. When I stop thru there looking for replacement dog food, for my dog, the brand I picked didnt settle well with my dog. There was some complications and I need to return it. Petco has return policy which is very generous and Amanda help me facilitate getting that returned. I highly recommend them because of their level of customer service.

Good selection,person are welcomed to shop and groom, pet vet days to update shots, no dogs with measures may have shots on spot...need to see the vet in office environments. Expensive for shampoo for digs. Good aquarium supply and other pets. I like it because my Be`Be` can go shopping to select .

I love that place, they take pride in their work, staff is really helpful and they seem to take good care of the animals that are both there and brought in to be groomed. I took my ferret there to get a trim and a treat and he seemed to love the place.

Dropped in to have my dogs nail clipped. They took my dog right in, clipped the nails and had her back out in legitimately 6 minutes. I was amazed and my dog didnt seem traumatized in the least, in fact she looked happy. These guys are great.

They sell homeopathic "medicine" right next to real pet meds. People, the placebo effect doesnt work for animals. Read your labels.
