This place is a joke. My wife and I unfortunately purchased a vehicle from this place. On our first trip down there we arrived at 5:45 not knowing that they close at 6. Youd think someone would want to make a sale stay a little late and make their customers happy but several employees walked by without a word. The next day we went down and took our new "project" car for a test drive. On the test drive I noticed the vehicle was pulling to the right, the a/c wasnt cold and a weird noise was coming from the belt/pulleys. Salesman Garth promised us these issues would be taken care of. The next day when we went down there to actually purchase the vehicle we were told the noise was actually the intake, which was a lie because its coming from the alternator. We were also told the vehicle was pulling to the right because one of the tires was low on air pressure and that if it was still pulling after we left to call him and to quote Garth "Well work something out" which ended up with My wife getting a phone call from the manager who was very rude and said they wouldnt do anything about it because they dont have the equipment there to do it. And how about those tires that they filled? Well they totally neglected the back two and one of them is shredded now due to the bad alignment/ low air. I only wish we would have read the reviews on here before we went here. Long story short stay away from this place unless you like being lied to and taken advantage of.

I bought a car in spite of the salesmen, Garth, who repeatedly changed the price and what was included. Car said it came with a warranty, and Garth used white-out on a card that they use to keep track of the vehicle to change the price so that he could "honor" the Internet price, and justify not having to give a warranty. This was in spite of saying that they wouldnt get rid of the warranty, and he waited to bring this tidbit up until I had spent over an hour waiting on paperwork. As the deal progressed, the vibe in the office got progressively weirder and more awkward as well. I should have trusted my gut and walked, but I didnt, and I regret it; I needed a car sooner rather than later, and I do like the model of car. The car hasnt had anything explode in it, but after getting it home and being able to dive into it more, I was able to find a few things their mechanic missed, or ignored. One of these problems is a well known potential issue with the car, and will cause massive issues if left unchecked. Its neither a hard not expensive fix either, its approximately 40 dollars in parts, and 2 hours of labor. If It had progressed, the part would have exploded, and caused thousands of dollars worth of damage. This kind of oversight does not speak well of this dealership. If I could take the car back, I would. I wouldnt recommend Gasoline Alley.

If youre mechanically inclined & dont mind grossly over paying, it might be an ok place to purchase a used vehicle. We were searching for a reliable used vehicle for our son. We happened upon a Volkswagen GTI. KBB had the vehicle valued at 4300$ for excellent used condition. Gasoline Alley had it priced at 5900$ plus their 295$ processing fee. This vehicle was in fair condition. After returning from the test drive, the passenger door was stuck and would not open. My son had to crawl out the window. The gas door was also broken and unable to open. There were holes where the fog lights should be. A bad key fob held together with duct tape. A dead battery that needed jumping before we could even test drive. There were various other issues but they were minor and just plain dirty with cigarette ashes and animal hair. My major complaint is they wouldnt fix anything without voiding the warranty and refused to come down on the price. They dont want to work with people. The salesman also told us the office staff will not work past 4pm so we had to make a decision quickly and we were unable to test drive anything else. With a short Google search weve found 3 additional GTIs for less money & newer years. I really wanted to spend my cash in Winchester but bad business practices make it hard to stick with local folks.

Ethical...if I had to wrap it up in one word. I bought a Jeep Commander from Gasoline alley in December and was excited to get it home. However, as sometimes happens with used vehicles, there was an issue that popped up shortly after getting it home. I had bought the warranty and paid in full for a vehicle that I purchased As Is". Legally Im not sure where I stood, but Gasoline Alley made it clear that they were going to make it right from the start. To make a very long story short, after towing the vehicle back to their garage, replacing part after part, all the while keeping me posted on progress, I got my vehicle back in perfect shape with a ton of new parts and at no cost to me. My wife was agitated, it was an inconvenience, it could have gone better to say the least, BUT Steve, Chris and the folks at Gasoline Alley took care of the issues as quickly and efficiently as they could. Big shout out to Chris in the mechanics shop! So, no it wasnt the perfect buying experience, but you have to know when you go to buy a used vehicle that there will most likely be issues. The difference lies in how you and the dealer handle those issues. Gasoline Alley stepped up to the plate, put profits 2nd and won a customer for life by being Ethical and diligent in doing the right thing.

I came to Gasoline Alley to look for a third vehicle. I looked through their website, which was very helpful, and found a 2003 Dodge Dakota with very low miles. I contacted them and spoke to Scott who contacted me immediately to work out the details. I came in the next day with the down payment; test drove the vehicle which was already detailed since I already had a pre-approval. The truck drove nice for an old vehicle, no rattles, noises, or problems. After a few weeks I love the vehicle! Scott and his team where champs on processing the deal quick, with a clean detailed vehicle! I’m definitely coming back when I need a vehicle for my new teen drivers! These guys posting about this dealer lying are unfounded here! These guys where upfront from the beginning, even explain a rubbing noise from the rear of the truck, I have an F-150 that does the same thing, and understood where it was coming from already! They could have hid that, but they were truthful in my book! If anyone needs a vehicle, come by and see Scott! He knows his vehicles, and will work hard to get you in a vehicle! This guy went well beyond customer service, even offering his personal cell if I ran into any problems. Thanks guys! A+ in my book!
