I had been looking for a used car for roughly 6 months. My wife and I pulled in to Myers Ford to test drive a few four door sedans because I had never driven a Ford before. The gentlemen working with us Caine Davenport was great, after looking around I told him exactly what I was looking for. “A simple car, nothing fancy but would drive 200K+ miles, easy on gas, and cosmetics did not matter to me…” I am in sales myself and the rule of thumb is that you never want to show a product unless it is cleaned and looking its best. However, it is most important to listen to the customer and give them what they want. With little hesitation he pulled from the back a Ford Fusion that was just traded in. The bumper was scratched, the primer was still on a minor dent they were repairing, and the carpet looked as if it had just came back from a family trip. I am sure 99% of the time consumers expect a car to look NEW when they purchase from a dealer regardless if the car has 100 or 100,000 miles on it so I give Caine a lot of credit for his ability to listen to what I was asking for and deliver. I asked him to call me after they did all their inspections and finished cleaning it to give me a price. Roughly 24 hours later I received a call and picked the car up shortly thereafter. The car looked immaculate when I picked it up, drove excellent, and the price was right. I am not a “car guy” so the most important aspects of buying a car for me is honesty, customer service, and a fair price … you get them all from Myers Ford. I am a customer for life.

This review is for the service department only. I have used the body shop for every single one of my vehicle body repairs and would rate them as 5 star. Also we had a good buying experience when orginally purchasing our 2014 Ford Focus, brand new. Currently has 22,xxx miles on it. We have been experiencing hesitation while trying to accelerate. This is so bad that the vehicle will actually throw you forward. I took the car into the shop for this problem for the first time in December. (Ive had all oil changes done at this dealer) After getting it back, it did seem to be better. This didnt last long though. I took it back in for the 2nd time (March), same problem. Was told there wasnt anything they could do for this. Its just the way my vehicle is. Also stated I will have to regularly bring my vehicle in for this short lasting fix, numerous times a year. I dont have time for that!!! They only had my car 3 hours. I would think they would take more time to find the problem. This company does not stand behind their vehicles. My husband had his eye on a used truck on this lot. But I can guarantee it wont be bought from here.

We drove from Charlottesville to Myers Ford after a car accident and we needed to purchase a new car. Why did we drive there when there were other dealerships closer? Im all about customer service and Cord started the balling rolling with exceptional response time and courtesy. Once when we arrived their attention to detail and listening to what we needed was exceptional. No hard sale, it was truly based on what was in our best interest from beginning to end. Coming from a difficult situation from an accident to moving from another state they made the entire experience so easy. The entire staff went above and beyond. I will definitely recommend Cord and the dealership to anyone looking for a vehicle. Will I drive the distance for service? ABSOLUTELY because I know I will be treated well and given a rental to use for the entire process. Thank you Myers Ford for making our move to VA a great experience.

After much researching for a larger vehicle to tow our camper, we ordered a new F250 Super Duty from Myers Ford. This was probably the best experience we have ever had with any car dealer. This was the first vehicle we have ever ordered just like we wanted it. Lisa and Brad couldnt have been more helpful during the entire process. Lisa checked every detail to be sure we could get the options we wanted on the this particular truck. After ordering, they kept us informed regularly as to its status in the assembly/delivery process, and gave us an estimated date of delivery. It came in right on time. Brad was very thorough when explaining the featues of the vehicle, and helped us set up and pair our phones with the truck, as this is all new stuff to us. We were told to not hesitate to call them is we had any questions about anything. Their attention to detail and customer satisfaction was outstanding.

I was looking for a particular vehicle with a lot of bells and whistles and was willing to travel a bit of a distance to purchase it. I happened to find what I was looking for at the Myers Ford dealership in Elkton VA. I began conversing with Wayne about the sale, and then to Chuck about the financing. Both gentlemen were extremely pleasant, helpful, and humorous (which is a quality I like!). Chuck was able to give me a more than fair price for my trade-in which I was very pleased with. I would definitely do business with Myers Ford, should the need arise. Oh, how far did I travel...??? Over 500 miles for the truck! Worth every mile!

I researched the car I wanted to buy, and figured out how much I wanted to pay for it. I pre-qualified with Ford Motor Credit with the promotional financing rate that was being offered. I e-mailed Myers Ford, they responded the next day. They e-mailed me an "out-the-door" price lated that day. I tried a couple more dealers, but none came close to what I was wanting to pay, and they wouldnt give me an "out-the-door" price in writing. I went with Myers and as the sale was finalized there was no pressure with service plans and other add ons to be purchased. It was an overall great car buying experience!

Very happy with the folks I dealt with. Very courteous, flexible and a pleasure to work with. I question though, if all my fluids were checked and okay, then why is my coolant below the minimum fill line on the coolant recovery tank. I paid for an oil change and got it, got a free tire rotation (because I bought the tires there) so I dont want this to be a negative review. Just questioning the diligence put forth on the extras that were supposedly done. That being said, I still feel like I got my moneys worth.

I have had regular maintenance and several mechanical issues over the past 2 years on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Doug and Steve are very good at their job. They get me in and out in a timely manner. Jimmy makes sure I get a ride or a rental if necessary and he emails me when service is due. I decided to buy local and it turned out to be a great decision. Got competitive price..fast financing and a clean shop and lounge when I need to go there for service. Go see Chuck about a car.
