The owner is friendly and more than willing to take some time to answer questions and help you plan your tank out. One of the few people who has actually saved me money for the sake of selling me fish that will be compatible with each other instead of just trying to up-sell the most expensive ones he can. Very reasonable prices compared to other shops/online vendors. Have stocked a few tanks based on his recommendations and they have turned out fantastic. If youre looking to stock a freshwater tank, particularly cichlids, I cannot say enough good things about this place. For me the extra drive was more than worth it and I will continue to be a repeat customer

The Best place around for freshwater fish and for reptiles/food... The staff is always friendly and helpful. The owner Jason is great and is always willing to take the time to answer questions and to make sure you have the correct information. Love the neighborhood feel and will continue to shop there weekly for years to come.

Dave and Jason you guys are great! They have the best selection compared to anyone and everyone in the area, fish you would never think you could buy and many reptiles too! Great people. Knowledgeable, helpful, friendly. I worked at two different aquariums shops in the area for 11 years. From that perspective, this family owned, local business is a gem. Its got that fish room feel to it. Shops run by actual hobbyists are the best. Cant say enough about this place.

bought a 16" spotted gar for my predator tank and i threw some raw shrimp in for my catfish before i went to sleep and i woke up the next day with the gar full of shrimp in his stomach. first time i had a fish eat first day i bought one. would recommend to anyone that wants freshwater fish.
