I went here to purchase a box of oysters and I was very disappointed with the service and the product. At the store, I asked the young lady who was helping me to please check the box of oysters to make sure there werent a lot of open ones (bad ones) in the box. Her reply, "The box is new and never been opened." Uh, yeah, I know. Thats why I asked you to check! She reluctantly agreed to my request, pulled the box out, removed the lid and then placed it back on without moving a single oyster. Her response to me, "Theres always going to be a few open." I decided to take my chances as this was my planned gift for Fathers Day and purchased the $65 box. When I got home, I went through the box to wash and put them all in a cooler of ice and 30 of the 90 oysters in the box were open! I was a little disappointed and decided to call the store to see how this could be made right. I was told the manager was in the back cooking and I would need to call his cell phone. So I got the number, called, and left a message. On a Saturday. I did not receive a call back until the following Wednesday. Keep my $20, Im just going to leave this review right here and take my business elsewhere in the future.

After being a patron of this store for years, we decided to have the weight of the steaks in one of the "Special Deals checked and found it to be at least 3 oz. short per steak. What should have been a total weight of 22 - 26 oz. was 1.1 lb or approximately 17 - 18 oz. When questioned about this, the person in charge at the store was not only not concerned but seemed to think it a ridiculous complaint, stating that since he had to cut 95 to 100 steaks for each of the weekly specials and they couldnt all be exact. When contacting them through the Land and Sea website, we have not received any acknowlegement nor response to our complaint after sending two emails thru their site regarding the lack of concern and rudeness of the person in charge. This has made us look elsewhere for a company to deal with since the lack of response has lowered our opinion of this company.

Wow be careful what you get here... I am from Michigan health department and I was told to come here and try their food. Nothing you get from their store is labeled with ingredients and their product doesnt have dates on them. A few good things I had came from here like their mild sausage and brats are good. Their stuffed grape leaves are good and their burgers are good. However I had the mushrooms stuffed with seafood and their chicken cord on blue with seafood. Their seafood needs to be inspected because both of these items tasted like very old seafood that was left over and ground up very spoiled. Remind you I bought it fresh and made and ate same day. This place us fabulous! Has so many items that are not commonly sold in regular grocery/markets i.e.: stone crab claws, crawfish, gator bites, frog legs etc. The dips are delicious esp. Cajun crab and the artichoke spinach. They sell a garlic polish kielbasa that is wonderful. Its like venturing into a big candy store but only this is foodstuffs, and you try to decide what to buy. Yum yum yum. Ive been won over! Love it here.

Bought one New York Strip Steak 6/3/17. Looked great at the store but when I opened up the package one end about 1 inch looked questionable. Cut off the end and then realized the entire center of the Steak was rotten and smelled horrible! This meat was definitely rotten!!

I love this place. We buy the bobs and bgq at home and saves a lot of time and they are so good. They have a lot of specialty products that are hard to find too. Fresh vegies and fruit are great as well as the fish and meats. A good selection of table wines.

Ive shopped here for an easy ten years...moved up the road a bit and cant get out much...now. I wish you delivered. But I still may be outta of your reach. I challenge anyone to visit this place and try not to buy something. ..lots of luck. Hahaha...

Impressive selection but Im not sure the prices are competitive and the cleanliness of the market is less than what Id hope for. Beware of the package deals as many of the options can be purchased at lower prices outside of the package price.
