Ive had this Italian grocery saved in my places for 4 years and finally had the time to visit. Id heard good things aplenty about the meats and cheeses. Nice modern exterior saddled in a small neighborhood Plaza with other stores. Parking was good. The variety here is great! So many types of pastas and soup mixes... I wasnt prepared for the fact that they carried cleaning and personal products as well. We made our way through, stopping to look at everything in each aisle. The Beef prices were very good. Steaks of many types, all looking good and tempting.i settled on some in-house dry aged ribeye steaks on special at $5/lb. The reason I gave only 3 stars was because there were way too many flies in the deli and meat section. This could, and should be aggressively managed. If not for health, for legitimacy to the customers who spend good money. We noticed a good deal of disorganization with boxes of inventory and sadly suspected that there might have been pink mold on the ceiling tiles. Again, people look at new places to see if they trust how food and produce is being handled. Really think that if they deal with some details this place would rise.

Cacciatore Bros is one of my favorite groceries in Town N Country. I used to live local in the area and I would buy most of my meat at Cacciatore Bros. They have the best high quality meats really fresh and at really low prices. My favorite meats to buy is the steaks and the bacon and the sausages. They also have some specialty meats. I once bought some weird sort of Cuban roast that was a disaster but I think I cooked it wrong and I bought it not knowing what it was. I now stop by from time to time to buy salads and appetizers for work pot lucks. I am also a fan of the produce. They do not have very much, but the produce that they do have is nice looking and fresh and lower priced than Publix, Winn Dixie, or Walmart. My favorite is the watermelon, the tomatoes, and the corn.

Today Im at Cacciatore Brothers store on Hanley Boulevard in Tampa. If your Italian or looking for some good Italian meats and treats I suggest going to Cacciatore Brothers Its the only Italian place in Tampa. They have fresh seafood ,fresh butcher, Delicatessen , handmade Italian sausage many types, tortellini salad , provolone Romano, wines and the list goes on and on. They have fresh seafood and they also carry baccala. They also have a huge fresh vegetable and fruit section. And for the Jewish people⛦⛤ they have matzo balls, knishes , Nova , baklava and lets not forget those Italian cannolis...

The best prices on quality meat and poultry in town. Wish they had better seafood. The produce department has fresh fruit and vegetables moderately priced. Their pre-made dishes like lasagna that you take home and bake are great. Exspecially when your single and want a good meal but cant eat a whole tray of lasagna. Just make a salid to go with it and pick up some baguette or cuban bread to go with it. Super good! Deli meats and cheeses and wines and spices, whoa! Definately a town and country specialty store.

My husband and I just discovered this place and we love it. Im reading the last review by Joe. His pastrami was cut too thin? You are going to keep complaining to the world? It must not be too bad if youve been shopping there since 2003. If youre unhappy, just go to another store. This place has fresh meat and produce, great deli selection and good prices. Try it for yourselves, youll be glad you did.

Really like their hot Italian sausage (and $1 lb cheaper than Winn Dixie which is also good) and the variety of Chorizo as well as Italian products.. I liked their variety of Martins Potato Rolls, but thought they would have been cheaper than Publix--there is such a mark up on these rolls.I didnt have time or need to buy any other meat or items, but definitely going to return...

I couldnt agree more. This was such a great store in the past. Butcher was rude and didnt even know what st. Louis style rib cut was. He was angry when I asked him to trim the ribs and had a real attitude. I noticed the bone-in ribeyes have gone down in quality. You are far better off waiting for sweet bay or publix to go on sale. Lost my business for good!

This place has gone down the toilet... I used to come here a lot. The meat here now is terrible. The butcher didnt even know what I was talking about when I asked him what grade of meat do they sell...all he did was lean over to another employee amd asked him and he didnt know what I was asking for......thats just sad. I probably will never go back again

Amazing selection of meats from their butcher counter and their deli. The produce section is satisfactory, having healthy items like broccoli, spinach, kale, and romaine lettuce usually stocked. Their selection of beef items from the butcher is massive!

Where else can you get GOOD NY Strip Steaks for $2.99 a pound? Seriously. $2.99 a pound. This place is great. Watch the tribune on wednesdays for their weekly specials.

Horrible its a Spanish Italian market more Spanish than Italian.. Better off driving 25 more minutes to go to mazzaro in st.pete for a real Italian market
