By far the most brutal pharmacy you could ever visit. Ever. I promise you. I have picked up prescriptions about 5 times (over the past 2 years) and each time tell myself I HAVE to use a different pharmacy. But the chaos of every day life consistently lowered the importance of this on my to-do list. Every time I get in that long line, Im certain my prescription wont be there. And every single time, without fail, theyve told me they cant find my prescription....insisting they never received it from our doctors. And every single time, I have to make an emergency call to the dr...and go through all the necessary people to have them inevitably chew out the pharmacy for overlooking the fact that it was called in hours earlier. I just called the pharmacy and lost it on the pharmacist. This stressed-out, kind man admitted that the system there is ridiculous. He explained how fed up he is himself at being yelled at all day for the justified complaints he receives. And proceeded to tell me their ancient method for entering prescriptions. Apparently faxed in orders and called in orders have to be written on paper and signed by the pharmacist. These hand written notes/faxes are suppose to be entered into the computer system but because they are so busy, they dont have the time to enter all of them in. So if you show up to pick up your prescription, and the technician doesnt remember your name from memory in seeing the fax or getting the call from your doctor, he/she can only rely on the computer system. And you guessed it, many orders arent there. I was stunned after he told me this and he then added that theyre cutting hours and staff leaving him with way too little help to manage 600+ prescriptions per day. I feel awful for him, and everyone working at that poorly run operation. I will obviously be going elsewhere.

Ok my 2 grandchildren 6 months & 2 years old, were VERY sick with RSV, Bronchitis and Pneumonia. It was 10pm and we live in Canyon Country. The pharmacy tech answers the phone "finally" and informs us that it will take an hour to fill. At this point the children were in a lot of discomfort. An hour later at 11pm we called again, took forever to get through. Then the same young lady said it was going to take yet another hour! So we waited. We called again at 11:45pm they put us on hold for 10-12 minutes and say our insurance want active and we would have to pay their price for the medication which was all in all close to $400 for both kids. Of course Im going to pay for it, right? The childrens lives are at stake here!!!! Then the young lady gets back on the line and tells me that after 12am the computer doesnt recognize our insurance!?! I was SO feed up at this point it wasnt quite 12am yet. So I stated that and guess what? Yep, she put me back on hold until it was after 12am!!!! I then demanded that my prescriptions be transferred closer to my home. The CVS pharmacy than calls me (meanwhile we are back in the ER because the 6 month old was having trouble breathing) and tells me that we can pick up our prescriptions at Rite Aid free of charge and that their computers were down at the time they ran our prescriptions!!! Talk about some ghetto ass swindlers! That heffer was trying to get us to pay out of desperation and then run the insurance afterwards and pocket the cash! I am not even happy giving this evening graveyard stag 1 star............

I was very impressed with the pharmacist at this location. I took my 7 year old to a clinic on a Saturday night and the doctor, not accustomed to treating kids, prescribed an adult dose of an antibiotic. The pharmacist noticed and called the doctor to confirm. In fact, the dose was too high. If the pharmacist hadnt been vigilant, my daughter wouldve taken WAY too high a dose and likely would have had nausea and vomiting. On the other hand, the pharmacy tech told us the medication ONLY came in pill form, not liquid. I asked if they just didnt carry it or if it did not exist and was told liquid did not exist. I bought the pill form but how do you get a 7 year old to swallow a big pill? Impossible. I chopped it up and mixed it with grape juice but it was the NASTIEST, most VILE taste ever. Not even an adult could get that down. So, although I was impressed with the pharmacist, the tech was so incompetent that I ended up not being able to give my child the medicine anyway. When I got home, I called to let them know I had looked on the internet and the medication DID come in liquid. They didnt apologize. In fact, they totally didnt care...and didnt care that my daughter was suffering and wasnt able to take the medication. At least the gave me my money back for the pills and I went to a different pharmacy to fill it with liquid. Pharmacist A, Tech F.

This is the SLOWEST pharmacy I have been too in 14 years. It takes forever to pick up the medication and it took them 15 minutes to drop off my medicine with 3 people ahead of me. They rushed and did not input my information into the computer because they were "busy." Then they go and lose the 2 medication prescriptions that I dropped off and are having to look for it now. How does a pharmacy lose your prescription? Incompetence and lack of attention to detail. They were cutting corners to get medications to customers that they do not do their job up front. I am sick of waiting 15-30 minutes EVERY time I go to this pharmacy. Go to Walgreens because they are friendlier and more competent. I understand folks have jobs but this job is important. If you are not going to do your job right then dont do it at all.

I am at work so I am calling to see if I have a refill. While on hold I decided to look at their reviews since they are so low. There are many people that have a problem with this location. Yes, there are sketchy people in there all that damn time. The lines are always freaking long, due to the under staffed. I dont know why they just dont higher more employees. Even have to wait even longer to get a ice cream cone. Who even owns this store really must be a penny pitcher. I was put on hold for like 30 seconds, and they answer my question and was very helpful. I guess the customer service is improving.

Theres nothing good to say about this place. This is the most incompetent pharmacy I have ever been in. It makes me feel like Ive suddenly walked into a third world pharmacy-- no one is a native English speaker, everyone is poorly trained and has absolutely no sales personality. There is not one person who can think a single independent thought.
