I generally dislike Albertsons, but this store continually surprises me. They have great organic options. The bakery makes really outstanding cakes. not the normal supermarket style stuff ... TRULY exceptional decorations. People will think you spent $40 on their cake, but you paid 15. They have great flowers. I had a minor issue once and the manager immediately came right over and resolved it. They support local charities in Ladera. They have a top notch 6 foot sandwich that leaves Subway or Togos catering in the dust. Excellent party platters that are surprisingly fancy. All of the above is, of course, inexpensive.

The worst day ever. Spent almost $400 on groceries and at the check out no bagger to help bag them. Albertsons makes plenty of money to hire more baggers for each Checker. I am handicapped and unable to bag my groceries. They put the bread on the bottom of the stack and keep on pilling more and more on top never started bagging them until the last one. All my chips and breads were as flat as a pancake!!!!

I go out of my way to go here. Ill walk in on a Monday morning at 6 AM and see the bakery department humming with something like 30 employees enjoying their work and taking pride in it. Meanwhile Gelsons isnt open until 7 and they love to let you know grumpily when you show up at the door at 6:57. So never been to Gelsons and not ever going there. Im sticking to Albys...

This store has a great Deli and prepared food section. The sushi area has fresh packaged rolls. If you want a customized fresh roll you can order it and they will make it on the spot. The bakery section also rocks... they always have boxes of fresh cookies at a really good price. The grocery store is huge and will always have what you need.

My prefered grocery store because Gelsons is a total rip off. They have almost every thing I need that I cant get at Costco. They are open pretty late and they have great deals on fish and meat of you go at the right time.

This is probably the most upscale Albertson Ive been to in Southern California. They have a nice selection of produce, food, wines and groceries. We got a really great bottle of wine here.

The store got updated recently. Its nicer with more organic and exclusive options to compete with Gelsons. It also provides bottle and can recycle machines outside of the store.
