I have been shopping at this location for over 3 years almost daily since I am a retired senior citizen living alone. The store is neat clean, the meat and produce are fresh well kept and the service has been exemplary. As opposed to its nearest competitor Vons Markets, the prices are quite a bit lower on almost all products and admittedly a whole chicken Foster Farms should not cost 25 to 35 cents a pound more at Vons or Ralphs than Stater Bros. The only advantage I see in either of the other two stores in our neighborhood is that they have a sit down area to eat food or read a newspaper, and a larger selection of books and Starbucks built in. I have a living room or kitchen for that.

The staff is amazing, so friendly, helpful and polite. Today, Id like to give a shout out to Dillion, who helped bag my groceries. One of my biggest pet peeves is getting home and finding fruit in my bag that is moldy. I was purchasing a mixed bag of apples and oranges and I thought I had picked up the most perfect bag but I neglected to see that one of my oranges was moldy. While Dillon was bagging my groceries he observe this, set it aside and replaced it with a new bag for me. The care to detail really made my day today! Thank you so much!

I have always found Sater Bros. to be among the cheapest major grocery stores, because they dont offer those deceptive store cards. However, this one is located so close to Laguna Woods that its difficult to get past all the scooters, walkers and senior citizens who park their cart in the middle of the aisle while browsing. If the aisles were wider, it would make shopping here a bearable experience. This store is close to my home, but because of the frustration level, I usually shop elsewhere.

Fruit is garbage! Nectarines tasteless and green inside, colorful outside! Watermelon: pith pit. A wast of time. Produce worker said the nectarines were good, from Chile, he had some yesterday, gag!

Love the Butcher Counter!!! Meat & seafood are top notch. The store is always clean & most employees are pleasant. Produce is overpriced for the area, but otherwise I like this store.
