Okay I had to give this place a 1 star because it did not have anything lower. First off the service after purchasing has been less than professional. They sold us a Jeep Commander with a recall on it that actually made the car die on my wife on Interstate 64 at 80miles an hour. She could have died. They say they check all the fluids in the car BOLD face lie. We took our car to a reputable mechanic and they said that the wrong fluid was put in the Transfer Case. The tires were the wrong size on two of the 4 tires. When I called the dealership all they do is lie to you, they actually promise a return call and you never get it. At this juncture I would WARN anyone who is thinking of buying a car from Drive Time (especially Salem) to stay away, go somewhere else as all you will have is pain from the purchase. They also add a cost to you to put some monitoring system on the car, acting like it is to protect you but after this experience it is so they know where the car is in case they have to reposes due to them selling LEMONS. Drive time are frauds and liars and they are the worst company to sell you a car. STAY AWAY YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Just want to say - I DO NOT WORK HERE. Feel free to write me anytime for proof. This is going to be a good and fair review. I shopped around and got approved at other car lots with high interest as a first time buyer. Went to Drivetime in Salem. It was INSANELY hassle free, also they have free popcorn and its really good. Misty & the floor manager Tom are INSANELY awesome. They made my life literally as easy as possible. I got a nice car, the mileage is higher but not horrible. The price is more than I should pay and I probably could buy a new car with that price but I dont have credit so that is how the game works. They got my plates + registration as promised in 13 days. They gave me temp stuff and it worked well. I put my deposit down, drove off the lot. The car has some minor issue, one seat heater does not work. Everything else is good. Honestly it was a fair deal, they risked giving me credit as a first time buyer and that is cool. I appreciate all Tom & Misty did and seriously, they are not a scam.

Went there today after filling out an online application to be pre-approved. I get there and they still had to fill out all the paperwork and run my credit. Ok so whats the point in me doing that online. Second the salesman was very nice and very upfront. Thats the only thing I did like. So I get approved for a loan but then they tell me Ive gotta pay a 1000$ down or they can put it on layaway until you pay the 1000$ down payment. I contacted customer service via chat on their web site and explained to him I make very good money and was very interested in the vehicle. However I couldnt come up with the 1000$ could we work around that to which I got the reply of go talk to the sales team there and put it on layaway. I told them I couldnt wait that long for a vehicle could we do something else. To which no reply was made. So looks like Ill be traveling right down the street from them to buy a vehicle from their competition who already approved me with no down payment. Such a shame too. The truck was nice.

We just got a car through Drive Time a few weeks ago! It was a 2011 Nissan Rogue. This is our first time getting a car through a dealer, and we love it! Everyone at drive time was so knowledgeable and attentive. There was such a great selection of cars, and all the cars were in excellent condition. It was great knowing that we were in a place where we felt that we were going to get the best deal. I was never skeptical not one time about getting a car through them. There prices are reasonable, and they do everything to make sure that you get the car that you want and like. Duke Terry, our salesman that helped us was WONDERFUL! He was caring, sweet and made us feel so comfortable with getting our first car! I recommend Drive Time to EVERYONE who wants a car. After paying our car off, we will most definitely be getting another one. THANKS DUKE TERRY, YOUR THE BEST! :)

2 months ago my family and I went to drive time to check out my options and met Justin. He told me what I could get and what kind of down payment I would need. I told him well I just wanted to see my options. He told me he would call in a day or 2 and i said call in 2 weeks. He did in which we said we would not do this right now, He didnt bug me which was awesome! Fast forward 2 months later I went back to drive time and test drove some vehicles with Justin. I put money down and came back the next day to finish all the paperwork. It was an awesome experience with Justin and Robert (the gm).. I highly recommend going to drivetime because they dont push you into getting what you dont want. I will be back!

Where do I start? I was very sceptical at first, however, my fiancé and I are beyond ecstatic!! After almost a month of trying to find financing for a vehicle, all the frustration and hassle, we finally came to Drive Time. Wow! Thank you thank you thank you! Exceptional customer service, and then some! Corey, our sales agent, was extremely helpful, honest, upfront, respectable, and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Thank you Corey for all of your hard work and getting us into our new vehicle, and thank you Drive Time for providing opportunities for people such as ourselves to be able to ascertain the vehicles that we want. Best car buying experience ever. Fast service, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Jeremy Sturgill was great salesman. Robert Purnell sales manager. both stayed late to make sure we had all the information we needed. They did not rush us out the door. down payments are very affordable.. Payments easily set up. Seriously best experience in buying a car. no pressure sales and they make sure you have the facts first. They go over everything in the car with you and are very patient and understanding of your needs and situations. Will do all business with Drive Time for all car purchases and refer all my friends and family.

DRIVETIME IS AN AWESOME PLACE. MY CLOSE FRIEND LAKEISHA BEEN REFERRED ME TO THIS PLACE BUT I BEEN PROLONGING AROUND. SHE BEEN GETTING ON ME BEEN ON THEIR WEBSITE LOOKING FOR CARS JUST TO GET BACK AND FORTH TO WORK. JUSTIN BEEN REACHING OUT CALLING AND EMAILING ME BUT I JUST WAS THROWING IT OFF.
