I bought an used 2015 toyota car in this dealership perfectly knowing it was too expensive, but I just wanted to buy a car in a place where I would feel that if something happened to it I would be covered. The car was certified and it was under warranty. Then the back doors latch broke and it was a nightmare! I called and nobody helped me, I was just sent to talk to Ricardo (Rico) who was on vacations so Id to wait a lot until he called me back, but he didnt. I received the worst treatment Ive ever received in my life from this person and Charvette Anderson. He said that my car wasnt certified which wasnt truth and that I was the one that broked the latch (a 3 weeks bought car), he screamed at me pretty bad and then called me back to give me some info. I told him I didnt want to talk to him because he screamed at me and He was making me nervous and he said: "Ive the info you need, but Im not giving to you because youre rude!"...and he just hung out the phone. So I thought: Am I rude after he told me Id broke the latch, screamed at me and lied to me by telling me the car I bought wasnt certified?!!! After that I spoke to Charvette, because she answered the phone and didnt want to transfer my call to Ricardos manager. Talking to her was an even worst and a very, very disturbing situation. Im even afraid to recieve a reply from her here! And Im not going to give a lot of details, but after the phone call I made, she called me back and told me that they were going to be really nice to me and help me (with a car with warranty and cerified!!!) and by helping me I should give them a good review online!!!! And she addressed me with the most disturbing and ironic voice ever to drive safely to the dealership! I felt something bad was going to happen to me!!! I asked to her why do I need to write something nice for a very bad service and why I was feeling I owned her a favor. After some words she said to me: Im going to hung up I hope you dont get mad at me(clearly trying to make me feel as the one with the problem) Is this the way they should treat a customer?? I only bought an used car because I was going to buy a new car in december to bring it back to my hometown! And they knew it! They knew I was going to buy a brand new car and they treated me like hell! I told her do you understand I was going to buy a new car and she said: its ok! (Like it didnt matter) Even if I wasnt going to buy another car, they didnt have any right to treat me with such disrespect! I was going to send a letter to North Hills CEO! But Ive the feeling that hell treat me in the same way, like it doesnt matter! Like Im not a valuable customer! I felt horrible and scared that day! The worst thing is that my husband had to take the car 3 times to the dealership! 3 times hed to drive for almost 2 hours and wait there!! for them to fix the latch, if its already fix, which I really doubt! I feel like they scammed me by charging so much for this car! I wish I bought it someplace else! Please stay away from this creepy and weird place!!!

2 years ago, I purchased a certified used Pontiac from another dealer. This dealer was my roommates father and gave me a great deal to get me out from under a lease that I was dupped into signing by a different dealer. I called him when the warranty ran out to see about a Toyota Corolla they had and see what it would take to get it. I do not have the best credit. He told me Toyota denied me but he would work with other financial companies. A week later, I got frustrated and though I was going to have to stick with the Pontiac out of warranty. Me and my bf went out to McKnight to see my eye dr to get my glasses fixed and on a whim stopped at Bairl Kia. We walked around their lot. Then down to the next lot. No one even greated us. Yes, we are young. I wasnt dressed in my typical preppy clothes. They didnt see us as worth their time in my opinion. We continued walking and ended up in the North Hills Toyota lot. We casually walked around the used cars then over to the new cars. It seems with Perfect timing, "Jimi" came over and greated us. I asked him my first and foremost question, what will you give me for my car. I explained where it was, he said bring it down. This was a saturday btw. I brought it down then we looked at the certified pre-owned car I was interested in. He gave me a price of 15,999. I explained what I was looking at elsewhere and he said, well thats a good deal, lets go see what we can do. He purchased me and my bf sodas and we went over numbers. Everything was closed and they explained that Toyota would give each dealership the same answer. Its in their contract. I spoke with the Finance Manager and the pre-owned manager. The finance manager guaranteed me that if I did a down payment of $500 I would get 2.9% financing with a lower price than I was looking at and they would give me more for my car. They wanted me to take the car home that saturday. I did not. After being tricked into the lease by another dealership, I was leery. I wanted everything in writing and finalized before I did anything. I should have believed them on Saturday. They gave me the deal they promised on Saturday once everything was finalized. I was shocked. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. They did have typical car sales however they did it with more class. I did not feel as pressured as I was at other dealers. At no point in time did Jimi say "Let me go ask my boss". Instead, they came over to talk to me directly. I appreciate how straight forward they were. BTW, Im 27 and My Toyota Corolla(Named Misa) is now my 8th vehicle. I have the best interest rate Ive ever had. Nearly the lowest payment and one of the nicest cars Ive ever owned.(Nothing can compete with the grand prix though, if it didnt eat gas so much and the payment wasnt so high, I wouldve kept it) Although, as with all car purchases, take a friend for back up.

Less than 5 months after the sale, my salesman no longer works there, the finance guy no longer works there, and the only person who genuinely seems to care about my dissatisfaction is Paul the Service Advisor. I recently discovered that the car I was sold as a "New" vehicle had been first dealt to another person 7 months previous to my sale (according to the Toyota Customer Experience Center), and I paid New car pricing. In general, North Hills Toyota employees seem reluctant to pick up the phone to advise me or update me on what is going on. 3 sets of title/registration paperwork were created. The first set was on USED car paperwork (which should have been my first clue), and the second set (which had my signature falsely notarized) listed the incorrect lienholder. I find it disconcerting that paperwork doesnt get filled out the right way the first time, their notary takes no issue with stamping a document with my signature FORGED on it, and no one of importance (Charvette Anderson the Customer Relations Manager, Carlos Echevarria the General Manager) has voicemail. My salesman Dean Rodriguez promised me that the car would be washed, detailed, and ready when I arrived to pick it up. It wasnt. I waited 1.5 hours at the dealership while the 1 person scheduled to prepare all their cars for delivery on that Tuesday night worked like crazy to remove tape from the taillights and waxed over tiny black spots on the paint. It wasnt even CLOSE to being detailed! The new finance guy Mr. Harris didnt seem to understand why I was so upset about the notarized false signature. The sales manager Steve Allen "talks the talk" but would not put his words in writing when I asked him to do so. I recommend only asking questions that require a simple Yes or No answer to the staff at North Hills Toyota to avoid getting a clever answer that tap-dances around your original question. I love the Toyota product line, but this dealership cut me a shady deal and they wont come clean about it. Find another dealership and save yourself some headaches. Further, I find it interesting that in the "Response from the owner" segments, General Manager Carlos thanks people for writing the favorable reviews, but he doesnt offer to speak with the dissatisfied customers himself. Instead, he refers the unhappy reviewers to Charvette Anderson. I hope the unhappy customers like coupons for 20% off the purchase of a part for your vehicle, because that is all that she was able to offer me!
