Theres a difference between raising the bar and being the figurative bar altogether. Tom Henrys Service Department is a game changer. After Sullivan in Etna closed down (where I got my car in 2005), I jumped around from shop to shop in hopes of finding someone reliable and honest. It was finally in 2010 when I was driving on 279 in a blizzard and my car suddenly stalled that I found Tom Henry. Although my car was 7 years old, it had less than 40,000 miles on it. Tom Henry fought for me and covered the repairs to my engine, which wouldve far-exceed $1,200, and they instantly made me a customer for life. As someone who has had many awful experiences with car service (being overcharged, poor repairs, poor customer service) and whose vehicular knowledge is limited to Google, its really important to me to have a service shop I can trust. Ed and Jim have been absolutely spectacular to me and my car, and Im strongly considering another Chevy as my next car because of them. Today, I only get my state inspection and repairs done through Tom Henry. Theyre thorough, considerate, and patient. Their repair charges have been extremely reasonable, and I also greatly appreciate that theyll take time to explain to me whats going on. Before I make any car repair decisions, I always check in with my father and theyve always been very respectful of that. They even offer to speak with him if Im at a loss. What happened recently is what made me feel ashamed that I hadnt yet at least written a review for them. Since my state inspection in May 2014, my car has been in and out with a suspicious squeaking sound in my new brakes. The brakes were working well and they tried a number of fixes, none of which they charged me for considering I had only just paid to have them replaced. I didnt usually hear the squeaking over my music, but during a hood latch repair I had scheduled, I asked them to check into it a final time. I also asked Jim to look at my front passenger stereo speaker because it had gone out a few days before. I noticed the hood latch was broken shortly after my state inspection from May of this year. They replaced the hood latch AND my brakes for no charge. Jim called me about the stereo, and, although it was a relatively inexpensive repair, I said I wanted to hold off until August for when I start my new job and have more financial stability. When I went to pick up my car a few days later, Jim noted that he replaced the speaker anyway for no charge because he felt bad that my car had been in and out for the brakes many times. I was blown away. To Jim, Don, Gary, Ed, and everyone else in the service department, thank you for everything youve done and continue to do. I trust no one else with my car, so youre stuck with me!

Be careful with aftermarket parts. I live over 2 hours away in another state and picked here thinking a chevy dealership would be better then a do it all shop. I had a brand new Chevy SS and had an exhaust, intake, tune, and body parts put on. The tune was not done correctly in which I was given the choice to drive home and come all the way back the next day or take it elsewhere which was still over an hour from me. I had a dent on my vehicle afterwords which i saw the next morning when i washed my vehicle in which I talked to Cam. He said send him pics which I did and was ignored there after. I ended up getting the dent fixed through my insurance which cost me $100. My exhaust was installed improperly and the factory gasket was left in which it later let loose and was rattling like crazy inside the pipe. I took it to the local muffler place since I didnt want to waste a better part of half my day driving back to Tom Henry. About 6 months later, the exhaust is rattling again. This time I take it back to Tom Henry since I didnt want to pay another $100 dollars out of my pocket to take it to the local muffler place. I also tell them I want the exhaust straightened from the first time they installed it incorrectly. They fixed the rattle but said they couldnt fix the exhaust. So Cam got a hold of Stainless Works and had them call me since he didnt want to deal with me and make it right. Finally I take it to Stainless Works, the manufacturer of the exhaust. The rep there told me that the exhaust was installed improperly at Tom Henry and was twisted from the front all the way to the back. BTW Stainless Works did a fabulous job on the exhaust. But this cost me another $150. So when it is all said and done, I spent an additional $350 out of my pocket to go back and fix what they screwed up and not to mention countless hours of my time and gas. And this was all bolt on stuff. To think I was considering them putting a supercharger on. Who knows how many bolts or nuts they would forget to put back in. Very very disappointed with my experience. I regret bringing my car here.

I purchased a Chevy Volt from Tom Henry Chevrolet in January of 2013. I was convinced that I was going to have to travel out of state to be able to purchase the Volt I wanted at the price I was willing to pay. Luckily, the Chevy website showed me a Volt in stock locally at Tom Henry and I requested a quote. I got a response from the internet manager Adam Bayliche with a quote that was quite competitive but I informed Adam that the Volt he had in stock wasn't exactly what I was looking for and at this price point I really wasn't interested in compromising much. I told Adam what I was looking for and within a day he was able to find pretty much exactly what I wanted and was able quote me a very competitive price. Adam made an appointment for me on Saturday to review the options on the car he was going to get for me to be sure it was acceptable. He also did a test drive with me in the Volt he had in stock and did a thorough review of the cars features with me. The whole process from internet quote to test drive to getting the car from another dealer to financing to picking the car up was quite smooth which is a credit to Adam and his professionalism. The icing on the cake was Tom Henry agreeing to fill in the holes in the front bumper from the front license plate that the NY dealer had installed after I expressed my dislike for front plates. Im thrilled that I was able to buy my Volt locally from a dealership that is clearly dedicated to customer satisfaction before, during and AFTER the sale.

After having been treated rudely by a used car salesman at another area dealership, I called this dealership about a vehicle I saw online, only to find out it had just been sold. Mr. Caruso asked exactly what I was looking for in a car and the price I needed to pay. He then asked me if I would allow him to find my car for me. He went out of his way to find the car with the amenities I was looking for at a very reasonable price. Mr. Valentine got a better interest rate for me than anyone else had done. Overall a very positive experience and Im driving the vehicle that is everything I wanted and needed. I have never experienced this level of customer service with any vehicle I have purchased over the last forty years. My family will return in the future to purchase vehicles from this dealership and one of my friends is going to visit them soon to search for his new car. Congratulations to this company and their customer service team! Keep up the good work.
