WARNING - dont ask for delivery service!!!!! Let me start by saying I have used a Sears Outlet store in Newark, DE and been satisfied with my appliances. However, I recently purchased a stove from the Sears Outlet on York Road in Timonium, MD. I thought I had gotten a good deal; however, the delivery service is totally incompetent, unreliable and has no idea how to provide any level of customer service. Sears should be ashamed to have their name affiliated with this delivery company! I was set up and confirmed for a delivery on a Tuesday. I arranged to be home all day for the delivery. I received a call that morning from the driver saying someone had a transposed zip code and his truck is going in the complete opposite direction. I tried repeatedly to reach the store only to find they have given me a transposed phone number and by the time we went back and forth the day was gone and I had no delivery. The delivery company Regional Manager sounded less than bothered by the mishap and told me they could only schedule me for Friday. Well they came on Friday, but after 5pm. Again, another day waiting for a delivery. Unfortunately, the stove was not appropriate for my space and I had to return the stove. Again, this totally incompetent delivery service set me up for 3 appointments and failed to show all 3 times! Now Im waiting on a fourth attempt for Monday. Again, no guarantee that they can pick up first thing in the morning to avoid me wasting another full day waiting for the incompetent delivery service. I was told the delivery men completed their THREE deliveries for the day and went home! Who does this????? Who admits to this level of blatant piss poor customer service???? Note to Sears, since you obviously are clueless about customer service and dont give two cents about your reputation.... dont ever tell a customer that you dropped the ball like this.... make up something, at least lie to me and tell me the truck broke down! Again, a major retailer such as Sears should care more about its reputation and customer service. I will never use this retailer again. The inconvenience waiting on this incompetent delivery service was not worth saving a couple of bucks. There are too many other options to use this type of company. Sears you should be ashamed to even work with this level of incompetence and poor customer service............

I feel as if I have to warn people about this place. Do NOT take your business here. I know the prices are good but it is not worth it. We went to Sears on a Sunday for a fridge. It was paid for and to be delivered on Tuesday. They said theyd call. They didnt do we called them Monday evening. They basically gave us the run around and said theyd call us back. Never happened. This cycle continued for 10 days. 10 days! We would call the store and it would ring and ring or theyd say they would call. When we asked for the manager, we were told he was "busy and would be for a while." What? Who says that? I had enough and drove to the store to cancel my order. When I arrived, the store was empty. I did see a young man who I assumed was a customer because of the extremely casual dress and the fact that he didnt acknowledge my presence, but no...he was actually an employee. I told him I was cancelling, he could not have cared less. He didnt ask any questions. I did vent and tell him why, but he didnt even look at me, much less a "sorry." Unfortunately I didnt have all my paperwork so I couldnt cancel this day. The next day my husband came back snd asked for the manager. A man appeared and said he was the manager and had been away for 2 months. He did seem slightly more empathetic but took our cancellation just fine. Apparently, our order was never sent out. How is this possible?! What kind of legitiment business operates this way? I cannot even wrap my mind around not only the complete lack of customer service but the idiocristy this plans runs on. Please , dont waste your time. I have told everyone to stay clear. You will thank me later.

Started out as a worst experience ever. There is an associate name Howard who is a liar,very rude then tried to provoke me in a fight. I repeatedly ask him what his problem with me was, he said I was pushy and they were short handed. I had to tell him several times leave me alone and walked away while he continued to prevoke me. I inquired about refrigerators, there was one with no information on it. After him finding a number on it Howard went to check price. He came back with a very ridiculous price. I inquired why so high that cant be right it was smaller than one beside it. Told me that was why smaller cubic ft cost more. Then try to tell me it was a garage unit is why . He also said if I want online price to buy it online. After speaking to Irene A FAIR AND FRIENDLY Associate it wasnt even in there inventory and was not that type unit. Which leads me to believe he made up prices. Irene went to manager and worked out price and was able to sell me the unit for half of what Howard said. If encountered by Howard walk away ask for Irene or someone else. Thanks to Irene 911 didnt get called but it was close.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!!!!! I purchased a refrigerator on 5/31 it delivered on 6/9 and never got cold. Had a service guy come out 3 days later and had to have the compressor among other parts replaced. Called the store told them what was wrong they said I could return it and get another fridge. I went in to the store and the manager on duty didnt seem to want to assist me or it seemed like I was bothering him. After I called him out on his attitude he changed and became helpful. I was told the old refrigerator would be picked up on a Saturday 6/18 afternoon I called the store to get the time of pick up, I wasnt on the schedule for that day. I was told It will be picked up on 6/25 and I was missed again. It is now 7/19 and the refrigerator is still in my garage. I purchase a brand new refrigerator form Lowes with a 10 year warranty for $500 LESS then then what I paid for a broken fridge with an extended warranty.

Called with a serious issue regarding a washing machine I ordered from there from Sears Outlet online. Two months in Id been calling Sears Outlet weekly only to be put off to wait for an email regarding delivery date. Call the store to investigate and after being put on hold for over twenty minutes without warning twice and hung up on - I find out its in NJ and I have to spend my day off calling them and chasing them up. Male on phone there was incredibly rude and acted like a child. Lady who finally gave us information held back laugher - extremely immature, childish, ill trained people answering the phones there. No management, because these employees seem very comfortable disrespecting customers who have spent thousands of dollars. Dont deal with this store is my advice - do not order from them, because if something goes wrong theyre not willing to be accountable or problem solve - they pass that on to you.
