I just bought a new TL, and it was best car buying experience ever. I have bought cars for my wife and my parents, and the negotiations were just too stressful. I know that the car salesmen are not to be trusted, BUT Tustin Acura completely changed my perception. I first got a great deal from Mission Viejo Acura. When I asked other dealers if they can beat the price, number of Acura dealers offered better price. However, when I actually went to the dealer to sign the deal, they changed the numbers and refused to give me the deal they promised. They all try to scam you with wrong price so you can come to the dealer. However, this guy from Tustin Acura named Kalolo Taofa was different. When I asked him about the price, he was extremely polite and extremely honest. After doing his own calculation, he honestly explained everything about the car I was looking for and offered me with the price. The price wasnt lowest compare to what other dealers but Kalolo said "I want you to know everything about the deal before you decide and I want you to know all the truth before you come down to the dealer." His honest really impressed me so I went to the dealer and Kalolo and Tom Pitchford helped me to complete the deal. They were so polite and honest that I didnt have to do any kind of additional negotiation with them at all. They prepared the paperworks based on what they promised, and also Steve Hahn, a finance manager, was so kind that he explained everything thoroughly and didnt forced or tricked us to buy any additional plans. After the signing was done, Tom explained everything about the car and navigation systems for more than 40 minutes. Most dealers dont care about the customers once they sell the car, but Tom is keep contacting me to make sure that I am doing fine with my TL. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. KALOLO AND TOM IS BEST CAR SALESMEN EVER!!. IF YOU WANT NO HAGGLE AND BEST CAR EXPERIENCE AND IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE A VIP, YOU MUST GO TO THIS DEALER AND ASK FOR TOM OR KALOLO.

We went into the dealership as a Navy Federal customer. We had been looking through hundreds of SUVs before we found the exact one we were looking for. When we walked in, we had been working with Wes over the phone prior to going in and were greeted by Ryan when we walked in. We told him the whole scenario and history. He stated that he wanted to check and see if he would be helping us or if Wes needed to finish with us. Wes wasnt available, so he continued to work with us. Not only did he set my wife and I at ease, there was ZERO pressure. He showed us the vehicle and walked us through its features. After finishing that, he had his Manager inspect our trade-in. The entire staff was on the exact same page the entire time. There was NO back and forth!!! We asked for what we thought was fair on the purchase price and our trade-in and thats the EXACT deal we were given. In addition to the ease of process, we were informed that there were additional DCH dealer features we would receive with our purchase. The 3 month warranty, 120 point inspection for all Certified Used vehicles and many other perks. Ive purchased over 10 vehicles in my life from dealers and have never been more impressed. Ryan and all of the management team are true professionals. They made money on the deal, but every penny was earned. Please go see them if you are looking for a car. They will guide you through the entire process and NEVER insult you by trying to charge you more than is fair. Great staff with great leadership!!!! My family and I will enjoy our 2012 GMC Arcadia even more knowing we received the best deal within a 200 mile radius. We drove from the Inland Empire to do business with them and would do it again and again.

I took my 2007 Acura TL to Tustin Acura because of a battery problem I had been having for a couple of years. If I let the car sit for more than a couple of days, the battery would die. I had already replaced a faulty hands-free module a few months previously--but I was still having the same battery problem. Tustin Acuras diagnostic test revealed an intermittent problem that seemed to be related to the radio--which was going to cost $600 to fix. I had a conversation with Eric LiFoSjoe, the service manager, telling him I was reluctant to pay for the radio repair unless he could guarantee that it would fix the problem. He patiently explained that he couldnt really guarantee that--but he asked if he could keep the car a couple more days so they could investigate more thoroughly. I already had one of their loaner cars--so it wasnt a huge inconvenience--so I said fine. To cut a long story short, they did more investigation and determined that the problem was actually still the hands-free module--so they replaced it, free of charge. During this entire week-long process, Eric called me every day, keeping me in the loop. And while they had the car, I asked them to check the front brakes because Id been having a bit of judder when braking at high speeds. They adjusted the brakes--did not try to talk me into buying new brakes--and didnt even charge me. In short, they were diligent, honest, friendly and competent throughout the process--and their primary motivation seemed to be making sure my care was safe to drive--and making sure I was inconvenienced as little as possible. That level of service is rare anywhere these days--but especially at a car dealer.

I got the serious problems with my Acura 2007 TL - S TYPE transmission on Monday June 10th 2013 .On Tuesday June 11th , I brought mycar to Tustin Acura ; and Mr. Kyle Herron the Service Consultant was there greeting me . After receiving the car, test driving with the technician, and having the initial inspections , Kyle discussed with me what the problems were. He discussed about the cost of fixing transmission and help ; this really surprised me ! I had having services on South Coast Acura on many minor things , but left with unsatisfaction due to unnecessary repairs and the expenses were up to my nose ! If this time I brought my car to SCA for transmission fixing , the cost would be up to the sky ; I guessed the cost to fix tranmission at SCA would be at least 4 K ! At Tustin Acura Kyle suggested the price for roughly 1250 .00 for fixing the transmission plus preventive maintenance on parts related to transmission and engine including wheel alignment ! Due to the complexity of the repair , I got to leave my TL at Tustin Acura for more than a week ; I got a nice loaner car TSX with simple paperwork to drive instead of renting a car from dealer . Every few days Kyle contacted me and discussed about the progress ;on Friday June 21st 2013 I got my TL back just right on the nice weekend ride ! Needless to say Im as happy as a clam ! I would like to recommend Tustin Acura Service especially with the Service Consultant Mr. Kyle Herron and the technicians there in term of quality , friendliness, cost , etc... I really appreciate this service from Tustin Acura .

I bought a used Dodge Journey there. I had recently gone through a divorce and knew my credit took a hit due to not paying bills on time during the process. DCH secured a very high interest rate loan and informed me that the lender would not give me the loan unless I also purchased gap insurance. About 5 months later I found out my credit wasnt as poor as DCH made it out to be and I refinanced the loan through Wells Fargo for less than half the interest rate. I asked my new creditor about the gap insurance and was told to call Capital One since they did the original loan. I was told by Capital One that not only did they not stipulate a contingency to the loan requiring gap insurance but that it is illegal to do so. I found out the gap insurance was through the dealer. I immediately went to cancel it and get reimbursed. I was promised a check within 4 weeks. Its been 7 weeks and still no check and furthermore they are not responding to my emails or calls. I was also talked into getting the extended warranty which was a little pricey. I was showed paperwork and they explained it was for 5 years or until the odometer hit 100, 000 miles. Since I got the car with only 30k miles on it I decided to purchase it. I needed service recently and was looking at the contact. It turns out the warranty is only good for 36 months or 100k whichever comes first. I was lied to yet again by these people and cheated out of 2 years of service. Next time I need a car I will not be looking to this dealership because of their dishonesty and poor business practices.
