Like another reviewer stated, I wouldnt go anywhere else. Aside from great prices, courteous and professional staff, you cant beat the little touches. I just went for the complimentary tire rotation and balancing that they offer every 5,000 miles, and their attention to detail was impressive. They resurfaced the area on the wheel and the rotor where they come together to remove any rust and debris, they machine rebalanced each wheel, and they properly torqued the lug nuts. To top it off, they apply tire shine. Are you kidding me? If you want a better job, you better open up your own tire shop and do it yourself. I waited 10,000 miles, but they will do it every 5,000 miles for the life of tires that you purchase through them. To help avoid potential problems and confusion, here are some tips to better understand the company. If you look online, there is Discount Tire, and Discount Tire Direct. They seem to be the same, and pretty much are, but kinda are not. To avoid confusion, know this: If there is a Discount Tire nearby, only use the Discount Tire Direct as a reference. Sometimes DiscountTire Direct has a slightly different selection, and sometimes the prices are different. If you see a tire that you want at Discount Tire Direct, that you dont see at Discount Tire, your local shop (Discount Tire) has access to the same inventory. Also, if there is a difference in price, your local Discount Tire will match Discount Tire Direct. The only reason to use Discount Tire Direct, is if you do not have a local Discount Tire, and will be ordering from Discount Tire Direct and having them shipped either to your home, or a local tire shop. You can order from Discount Tire Direct and have them delivered to a local Discount Tire, but if there is a problem with the tires, it can get complicated, as I found out with my original purchase. Then there is Americas Tire, which I would consider just like Discount Tire Direct ---- just for reference for additional selection and price matching. I would recommend the guys at the Ocala location without hesitation. Its hard to imagine a better experience.

Update as 08/11/2017...Well if you notice Im opting to once again give them my business. This time I decide to do everything on line because I notice that it gives you the option to REMOVE the valve stem, nut & rubber kit they force you to buy in the store. Guess...I schedule an appointment for Monday the 14th at 8am. They call me today so Im upfront & I tell them Ill go BUT if you notice I removed that TPMS valve service you guys do. He proceeded to tell me that it was mandatory as its a federal law. Folks like if I was born yesterday...LOL..I asked me for the statute regarding such law & he started to mumble then said it was their policy & if I didnt pay for it they would NOT mount the tires. Needles to say Ive opted to reach the senior vice president out of their regional office & Im eagerly awaiting his call. FYI I also found out that the Arizonian Silver Edition III is discontinued. Ill update again once I hear from their regional VP. Joke! Dont go here! Not tire experts but tire (up) sellers. They nickel & dime you to death & their prices for such items are very ridiculous. They do NOT align tires so good luck proving issues with tires they will ALWAYS find a reason NOT to honor manufacturer tire warranty. Their tire rotation is equivocally WRONG if you follow it your tires WILL NOT last. (I bought 45000 thread tires currently 50000 miles & still have over 10k miles to go b4 I need replacement by strictly rotating front to back no "X" like they push & perform) They are in the business of making sure your tires wear quickly & not last. FYI no we dont have one here but COSTCO is the best priced non alignment tire seller & honor manufacturer warranty as far as wear & tear unquestionably.

Best in Ocala (and I know) Ive gotten tires at 5 different places in Ocala nearby, including dealerships - and Ill never go back to any others. I was in and out within an hour with two new tires on my truck at prices $30 lower than anywhere else per tire (other places took a half day plus, and half the time they screwed up), the place (bathrooms included) is clean, the counter guy was honest/straightforward and didnt try to upsell more on more than I needed, they didnt have Maury Povich blasting from a tv in the corner, the chairs are comfortable and the complimentary Starbucks was just what I needed to get some work done on my laptop. They even had todays sportspage on the wall in the bathroom! Perfect. I didnt need to, but if I wanted to theyve got a ton of restaurants to choose from on the same corner without having to cross a 7 lane road on foot. Good job guys. First time Ive ever written a review but yall deserve it.

My wife and I where on on our way from Apopka Florida to Panama Beach City in a rented Buick SUV. On I75 I ended up with a flat tire. I dug out the doughnut spare changed the tire and drove to Discount Tire in Ocala. Since I had several hundred more miles to go, I knew we could not stay on the the spare so I went to get it fixed, Even though it was a busy Saturday (Halloween). Beau from Discount Tire heard my story and got me back up and running in less than an hour. In addition to fixing the tire, they went through the trouble of removing the spare and replacing it under the vehicle as well as putting the Jac and lug nut away in their original places. All of this stellar work for "No Charge". Simply unbeleivable in this day and age. Thanks so much Beau and team! you guys are a class act!

Went to get a new tire yesterday; I had a screw in the tire. I was completely prepared to pay the 170 or so to get the tire. A team member at Discount Tire came out, looked at the tire, removed the screw and found that it was not leaking. Further, they brought the truck and tire inside, further pressurized it, put in their dunk tank...still no leaks. They then took off the spare tire and put the leakless tire back on....all for no charge. My wife had brought the vehicle to another place close by and they offered nothing but a new tire (actually tried to set her a set).. I have bought there before and I will always make it my first stop.

I had my F150 truck towed into this shop. It has 37" over sized tires and I had one tire starting to go flat on I-75. When I arrived I was treated by a professional and they promptly went to work on my truck. It was fixed in less than an hour. I had a valve stem starting to go bad, which they replaced. Here is the special part, he told me there is NO CHARGE. Only asked for my future business. I can assure you he will get it. I will refer anyone I know to this location. It is truly different than any other tire store I have ever been to and I have been driving for 35 years.....allot of tire stores in my past.
