Every time we go to this store we have a problem. This last time the cashier charged us for peaches at 1.99 per lb when in fact, we had 4 lbs of of over ripped bananas at 39 cents per lb. I took the bananas back in to the store and showed the receipt to the cashier and the she looked at it and said whats wrong with it. I said you charged almost 8 $ for something we did not get. She said I charged you for peaches and I said I didnt get any peaches, we got bananas then she says to bring everything back in.So we doid but by now Im fuming.The wife finally straightened it out and got our money back.But the fact is that the cashier was looking at the bananas and the receipt still did not see that she had charged me for peaches instead of bananas and making me bring back all the items,To make a long story short she was not nice and she cant tell peaches form bananas even when she is looking right at them.

Vons was not the size of a warehouse rather a small community market full of carefully chosen selections suiting the population of Brea. Fruit selections are on the west side of the store. Nick in the floral department was congenial and personally took the time to share his work experience and how he came to care for the beautiful displays and care of flowers. If its a party or small gathering you can find the department on the east side too and they stock brands of wine that are packaged in glass wine bottles not cardboard.

I do my big shopping at Costco. But this Vons is just down the street from me and Ill walk there at least twice a week. Its a small store, but they do things right there. The bakery is awesome, but a bit over priced, compared to Costco. But they have one thing Costco cant touch: the small rounds of sourdough bread. Theyre made fresh every morning and they are magnificent. The clerks are all very pleasant and shopping there makes me feel good. Its old-fashioned, but in a good way!

This is not a full grocery store. Its a good one for its location. I get most of my major items here. I usually have to go somewhere else for specialty cooking (lactose free, gluten free, paleo). It is pricey though compared to the nice little grocery shops Ive been used to. The deals really arent that great in comparison to other shops as well. It does what it needs to do for the surrounding community. Ive personally only experienced good customer service here.

I pick up office coffee here. Its very clean. I usually get in the same lane with a blonde check out lady. She always cracks a joke and is funny. Also, shout out to the African American cashier whos insanely fast. I dont remember you name but you should get some kind of award.

One of the smaller Vons stores. It doesnt always have everything on the sale bill. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The parking lot can be very full on some Friday evenings due to a Karate studio next door.

Just returned from the local Vons. Wont be returning. If there is one thing I dont need when Im shopping its that raucous noise that passes for music that was blaring throughout the store. Couldnt wait to leave.

The staff here is far superior than anywhere else near by. They are always extremely helpful and very polite. And their pastries I cant get enough of. Everything they offer at the counter tastes amazingly fresh.
