Found Kim Chee and Fried Fish here in box for cheap 0.99 and 1.99 and cheap sushi rolls...what you people called California rolls? Yes many more places like this in Korean town. The price is right just as I remembered a few years ago before Tri-Aid took over and influence local businesses to raise price since "competition is futile as that there are other qualities customer look for beside price such as setting, service, convenience, etc". Which is wrong since these are small businesses that operate on bare bone cost...you are not a fancy 5 star restaurant nor 5 miles are an inconvenient nor do they care if waiter dont talk or setting is bucolic. You will see, you will get hurt in a few months by new businesses. There alway will be competition in the free world.

This place is quite large but wasnt what I was expecting from H-mart. There is a relatively small produce section which was not very fresh and not very competitively priced. There was limited selection for pre-made kimchi and the radish one we got turned out to be very light on the spicy seasoning and not fermented very much. Meat selection also leaves something to be desired and the fish section is a little concerning with all its products in the open. Here it seems there was more focus on prepackaged food and home goods, whereas the H-marts that I had visited in Virginia were more focused on fresh produce and meat. There was also limited staff that all stayed around the registers. I dont think I would come again.

the kalbi (marinated short ribs) and the bulgogi (marinated beef) are amazing! they use angus beef and theres is barely any fat! some grocery stores (like freshia at beach blvd and garden grove blvd) have ridiculous amounts of fat on their beef. Also, the seafood is incredibly fresh! i do think they could do a bit better with their produce section, its either really expensive or goes old a bit too quick.

Korean own supermarket that seems to be popping up in lots of cities. This supermarket seems to have everything you would need, except yuzu ssuce. It took me over and hour to look for this sauce to no avail, but they have a million ponzu sauce, WEIRD. ITS cleaner than hot typical viet supermarket, but not its quite a bit smaller.

I am handicapped. I went to there 12/06/2016 on 08:30 PM . So the market was not busy . I asked to get a electric car that they had before.... but not anymore they have it. Also when I checked out , I asked cashier to get a person to help me ..... I couldnt believe that she ignored me .

Meh. It is your typical H Mart with all the groceries you need except all the additional stores that are inside. Like most places they dont have good food at night that they make and set out. The ones Im used to have bakeries or additional little restaurants.

This supermarket has a very wide selection of high quality food. The prices here are fairly average for the quality of food you are buying. This place is also very clean and there is also a food court attached to it in case you are feeling hungry.

Been a loyal customer here since BEFORE it was California Market. Used to be the best place to get Taegu and the only proper place for years to get Nori . Prices are fair for everything minus the "American" stuff you can buy there.

For an Asian market, this place is probably the cleanest! Their produce is well priced, and they sell meats that are pre-marinated. The ramen aisle has all of the Korean ones that you need, even the spicy challenge one.

An awesome super market. If you are looking for niche items such as super spicy Korean instant noddles or even Japanese products, this is the place to go. They are a bit expensive though. That is my only complaint.

Fair Korean/Asian choices. Lately catering to general Asian population in the area, so many non-Korean items can be found here. Love the food court - especially the dumpling place and kimbap (Korean rolls) place.

Love all the korean snacks! Their seafood and meat selections are good too. Love the shabu shabu slice of beef for homemade pho. And their seafood salad with salmon is delicious for lunch!

Great selection of foods and many korean dishes to try. They also have a food court with a lot of yummy items at a great price. Try their packaged "banchan" items aka korean side dishes.

I lost my wallet on 7/18/10 at H Mart. If you happen to find my wallet, please return it to the H Mart register. Everyone who is going to go to that H Mart in Garden Grove be careful!

This place is better than Walmart. I feel that the fruits are more fresh and they taste better. They dont have all western necessity but thats not bad for an Asian market

theres more fresher food in buana park than Garden Grove . Looks like you leave the old stuff for the old people and the fresh stuff for the young people in Buena Park.
