Yes there are lots of deals, but you have to be very careful and know what you are shopping for. It is not uncommon at all to actually pay more for something at NPS than you would pay otherwise. Also, most purchases are final, which means if something doesnt work or is bad, you just wasted money. Often you end up buying something you wouldnt have otherwise bought, just because its cheap(ish). I usually bring a smart phone and compare prices on the internet before buying. My wife is addicted to this store and sometimes we will drive an hour from Provo just to go there.

The staff are not very attentive. I have waited at the specialty counters (electronics as well as the ammo & tactical ) for quite Somme time. The staff seem and at times act likes it is some great burden to have to help you. The prices are also hit or miss. Bring a smart phone and google it. Some are good others are not. The better choice is to visit their eBay website. That is where you can find the good deals

Cheap prices means you can purchase $100 worth of products that are at a $300 value. Huge selection - the selection is like Wal-Mart without the exploitation. It isnt for everyone, but if you are looking for a deal this is the place to shop. I recommend visiting the Clearance Aisle in the food store first.

Dont do the the auction on Monday. After I bid on a lot, someone moved items out of my lot to another lot. I moved it back and got accused of shoplifting. Its a good ol boy network here in which workers stack lots for their buddies after the close of the bidding process. I will never buy from NPS again.

Though there are occasionally good deals on holiday items after the holiday passes, a lot of the stuff can be purchased for the same price or cheaper at normal chain stores. The place is a real mess - feels like a thrift shop.

Great place to score some amazing deals. Be careful though, not everything is a bargain. A lot of the food is well past the best by date, so if that concerns you, be extra vigilant.
