This intersection now has no fewer than three large Korean supermarket. Three fourths of the corners have them now. If the Arirang Market on Brookhurst had opened on the Northeast corner here, then wed have a perfect set up for all out war. This one is the newest, and the best from the perspective of this non-Korean guy. The plaza it sits in is pleasant, with good food and coffee and that sort of thing. More to the point, the store itself is clean, not cramped like some Korean markets can be, and has the best produce section around. All large Korean markets have good produce sections, but they can be limited when it comes to items that are not of specific interest to Koreans. This one has plenty of ingredients you wont generally find in Korean cuisine, but that youd also be unlikely to find in a non-Asian market - kaffir lime leaves, Thai basil, fresh turmeric, and so on. It also has an array of other fruits and veg. The fish section is also good, though we usually go to a different Korean market for that (a little pricier at H Mart). There is also a small food court that has pretty good quick food. All in all this is not just the best Korean market around (in my non-Korean estimation), but probably the best supermarket of any type in this area.

H Mart is a magical place. So, a little background on me - Im white, American, and I have not experienced a market here in the US like H Mart. When I went, Im fairly certain I was the only white person there, and that is a shame, because I feel this store should get more business than it does. Ive twice now went to the cafe there at H Mart and have had a great meal each time. I can hardly pronounce whats on the menu, but I love it! The food is authentic and wonderfully Korean. The produce in the grocery is well priced, but I would stay clear of items you can easily buy in American stores (I think some Oreos were around $4.50). Inside youll find that Koreans are interested in what would be considered high end meats, as I have yet to see such meats at an American grocery store. Very interesting stuff! Love the culture and atmosphere inside the store, and its accessible enough with English signs and helpful staff (a large number of employees are surprisingly Hispanic). Will come again!

im only gonna comment their food area, but not the store.. lots of things to choose from, i was with my cousins and my cousin ordered some food in the food area, after buying some kimbap, i was still checking out the food in their counter but one of the ladies pushed us away, saying "ok you go there now" pointing at their seating area, didnt you notice, im still looking at your food?! that was so rude of her! its not like im taking pictures... btw, cameras are forbidden in their store. but overall, the store is very clean, i love their sushi/sashimi, basically seafood section, and its really hard to find parking.

This place will either amaze you or make you sad because there isnt one closer to home. You pretty much have to see it to understand some of the reviews. Its a Korean supermarket, but its like and actual visit to a supermarket in S. Korea, rather than a specialty store filled with a bunch of imported foods. Aside from the unique foods, meats, and hot to-go, theres also a decent section of kitchen accessories, small appliances, and gadgets . Its therefore the perfect place for your Korean foodie and wannabe chef!

It is difficult to find parking on weekends, but this store has a food court with standard Korean dishes. The produce is fresh though sometimes expensive. They have a membership card, but you get only $10 off if you spend $1000 - 0.1% of how much you spend. The prepared side dishes are more expensive than Super 1 Mart and AR Mart. I would go here for the food court and if I happened to be in the area.

The produce and seafood are really fresh here. Considering there are three Korean markets in this intersection I like to frequent this one when its not too busy. Whats keeping this a four star market for me is the lack of parking at times. If I know parking will be tough Ill go across the street to Hannam Chain.

The lady who is kind of tall and wears glasses who seems to be a manager at the store was very rude when I asked her a question; she didnt answer, mumbled something and walked away. This is a nice store but the manager needs to be trained on providing good customer service. I am very disappointed.

Great atmosphere. They give samples I think on Sundays and have a wide selection of frozen, fresh, and packaged foods. I love doing my shopping here since their vegetable selection is amazing. But the problem is parking can be a hassle depending on when you get there

This Korean market rocks, always clean, great food court items, and lastly the produce is really fresh. Cant beat it. H Mart is one of my favs to grab stuff from when needing quality Korean food and ingredients, as well as selection. 5 Stars!

Inexpensive produce and lots of Asian groceries. 4/5 because not all the staff speak English. But, if spoken to slowly, they can catch on. Clean location with clean bathrooms and food court with plenty of seating (indoor and outdoor).

One stop shop for any type of Korean groceries. Was able to find sumo oranges here as well! Its always fun to come and try something new for dinner. They also have a gimbap factory inside if you need to eat a quick bite while shopping!

I love the low produce prices that this SUPER H Mart have. However, lately I have discovered that some items--mainly fish and fruit have already gone bad and I had to make another trip to return the spoiled items.

아주 청결하고 다른 마켓에서 살수없는 물건들도 많았고 모두 신선하고 가격도 적당한것같았음

Very cool place. Lots of interesting items and food options to choose from. What impressed me was the fruit section, they have the biggest apples and other fruits as well that Ive ever seen.

Clean grocery store. They package a lot of their vegetables in sealed plastic bags to help with cleanliness and freshness. Convenient location on Beach Blvd. to grocery shop on the way home.

Has a decent food court. However, customer service isnt up to par. The guy serving in the food court has an attitude, I mean I would to at that age if I didnt have a career.

Good place to grab a bite to eat and shop for groceries. Produce and Korean products are generally cheaper however American products are overpriced.
