I hate the petco. Its the closest pet store to me so I have been going to it for quite a while and ive decided the long trip to outsmart is worth it. All I wanted to to was go in and get a few mice for my snake iggy. THERE WERE LIKE 3 PPL WORKING THERE. The cashier had a really long line, he was the only cashier, and another associate was helping this customer the she time I was there . One associate with the name April was giving this family a lizard but she was also aggressively talking on her mic. When she had time from the family I asked her where the mice were since they seemed to have mice them and then I told her I looked in the freezer by the fish. She cut me off rudely to say they werent there and she walked away. She seemed aggitated that I even asked. So I was left without an answer to my question, I didnt even know if there was mice in the store or if they just moved them somewhere else. I ran around the store checking every freezer and non held mice. April magically disappeared and there was no one able to help. I was so pissed I left the store after waiting over 30 minutes .Customer service was terrible.

Dont get you pet groomed here. I learned that after the 2nd chance I gave this place. First time my dog was cut under his belly near his weewee and was told it was bc he was knotted.. my dog grows a small amount of hair in that area.. anyway they didnt charge me and gave me a vets #. The second time the guy grooming my dog was clearly in diva mode that day. He had an attitude when we went to check on our dog. We waited like 6 or 7 hrs. No joke. We never got a call to pick him up either. When we went to pick him up there was a girl sitting there who looked at us and was like ooh your here for teddy and she runs back to get him. He felt hot and had clippings all over him. We asked why she didnt call if she knew he was ready and she replied I cant call because I didnt groom him..really?!..well screw my dog then right..poor customer and pet service by the grooming department.

My 9 year old Golden was brought in at 8:30am and was not ready until 1:10 pm. No where was it stated that the animals are not taken to the bathroom and they must hold it or go in the kennel. My dog is trained and will not potty in a kennel, due to her training. My dog barely walked through the store and peed all over the ground. She was very stressed. Her body temperature was high and she was extremely thirsty. One associate said they do not get water due to it ruining their grooming, and the manager says they do get water. All.i know is she drank a ton of water when we pulled over at a gas station to help her. Also, her nails were half assed and she has a cut on her stomach. I had to cut the extra nails myself. Ive spent so much money and time here and its all down the drain. I would advise against it if you love your animals.

Kaitlen was so helpful when we couldnt find our normal brand of cat litter replacements. She took the time to search other locations and help us find what we needed. She explained everything very clearly and the rest of the staff was informative and caring. If you want to buy anything concerning your pets, this is the place to go. (Message to Petco Corporate: You should listen when your top volume locations need additional inventory. Talk to your manager, Kaitlin, she makes a great asset to your company.)

Staff was horrible. One guy seemed like he didnt know anything about the animals and would not be able to sell any animals because the person in charge was not there. Gabby was the only friendly staff member that helped us but requested her co worker to get us the crested gecko we wanted and he began hollering and yelling and then asked someone else to help us. Just seemed like both men workers were arguing over who was going to help us. Very unprofessional. Wish I could give zero stars rating.

okay, i have a big aquarium and a good amount of fish. One thing that i have notice going to petco and other pet stores besides aquarium world is that they do not feed their fish. Like all pet stores they are insured fish rather they live or die so why feed them if they are just going to be getting new ones at the end of the three weeks. When i go into petco every time i see fish eating fish just because they will not feed them.

Ive been there a few times and their employees in the aquarium department are very nice and knowledgeable, but the manager Ms. Hart is not very friendly. Every time Ive dealt with her, she seems bothered and agitated to have to help me and other customers. I feel that if you are going to work at a retail place, you should develop good customer service skills....

We come here to stock up on dog and cat food, as well as toys and accessories, because they always have what we want. We had one instance where the cashier was rude, but otherwise everyone has been wonderful. There is another location that is closer, but it is small and often doesnt have what we want. So this remains our favorite place for pet supplies.

No meter I go there when they open and still getting stuff ready for the day or I go exactly few mins before closing I always get great customer service.i m setting new aquarium and I really dont know much about aquatic life so every person who is guiding me they really walk me through.i am just in love with this store.

So I went to store on 249@springcypress today for Aquarium shopping and the girl over there named Noel helped me a lot.she explained me all the stuff I need and literally made me a list,she was very patient and helpful she explained me about store and all the help they can do to keep my fish alive and healthy.

I took my soname here to look at getting a bearded dragon for his first pet. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Even a week after we brought home our beardie, I went back to the store with more questions and received the same level of service. I am very happy with this location.

Friendly staff, clean store, average prices but they have narrowed their available selection to just a few brands and started pushing their brand, but it is not a top of the line brand in terms of quality. Now Im having to go to more than 1 store to get all of my pet needs.

Called them a few times today for customer service and nobody answered. Once someone answered but didnt say a word for a second then put me back on hold. I ended up driving a little further to Pet Supermarket instead. They answered on the first ring and was very helpful.

Saw this poor dog in the walk way in a carrier crying and wimpering. He was clearly unhappy in that small space. I doubt thats how you should adopt out a pet. I felt bad for the poor dog. Also prices are higher than Petsmart so ill just keep my business there.
