Very poor custmer service. Bought an item at another location and changed my mind. This store is 3 miles from my house. The store I bought my item at was 25 miles from my house, I was over in that area visiting and bought the item there. Just because the item was discounted to match the online price, this store would not take it back. I had called their 800 customer service number and they told me that i coukd take it back the next day to the woodlands store. So, i went back the next day and AgaIN the manager said he would not take it back... that is poor business, why are they telling 2 dif. Things, No wonder this location is not very busy. They dont do anything to help out their customers. I will go back to shopping at petsmart. They offer better customer service. This item was new in the box with the receipt, I never even opened it. It was a $300 fish filter, I think they just didnt have enough money to do the refund. They said they dont sell this item, thats not my problem, it sure came up on the register when the cashier rang it up before the manager came up and told me no. Lets all go to petsmart!!!!!!!!!

Do not get your pet groomed here. I took my puppy here to get a grooming the other day and about an hour after I dropped him off I got a call stating that he had an accident due to being too hyper. I get it my dog is hyper, hes a puppy what do you expect. It was not until I got him back when I noticed he seemed a bit down, I assumed they sedated him, and my assumption was correct when he had and accident in the house and his poop smelled of medication,(like the smell of your body getting rid of anesthetics after a surgery). Im am furious, his appetite has decreased which has me worried Ill have to take him to a vet soon. So please take your dog somewhere else to get groomed and not at this horrendous place.

Bad experience with a groomer at Petco next to Trader Joes. She called me 3 hours after I dropped my double coated teddy bear Pomeranian puppy off and said that she has to shave him because she cant brush him out. Everyone knows, you do not shave a Pom, their coat will never grow the same. After I told her absolutely DO NOT shave him, she managed to brush him out and added a large charge. I dont mind the charge, however, I do mind an unprofessional, lazy and not knowledgeable groomer. I can tell she did trim his coat a little, which I specifically told her not to do. I do not reccomend Petco, and groomer Ashley. Not bringing my sweet Juno there again.

I just bought a dog toy plus several other items. Once I got the toy home, before I even gave it to my dog, it broke. Ok, no big deal, stuff breaks all the time. So I hopped back in the truck and drove back to Petco. After I parked my truck, as I was walking up to the door, the blonde haired girl working inside walked quickly to the door to close and lock it. Apparently no comment or apology was needed that I missed closing time. Looking at my cell phone, it was seven on the dot. I will NOT be returning to this Petco. I will drive out of my way to AVOID this store!

I had a great experience with the grooming service. My little Shitzu is very sensitive and not too many places can groom her. She had a great experience and the staffs were real friend. I did mention about the poor rating rating but the grooming staffing has changed since then. I hope those who had a bad experience can go back again and give them another try. I also hope the managers or supervisors of this store take these reviews seriously and provide feedback. Many decisions of going certain places is based on Google reviews.

As far as the help in the store, Id give them FIVE stars. As far as the grooming salon, Id say three stars. My dog was at the groomers for SEVEN hours and had to urinate so bad when I picked him up that he tinkled on himself, and was so thirsty that when he got in he car was licking the condensation from my soda cup. I pulled over and got him a bottle of water, of which he drank almost half. My suggestion is, if a dog is there for more than 3-4 hours: walk them and give water please!

Loved loved loved this Petco! My experience was amazing!! I just bought my first aquarium and fish this weekend. Hayley the aquatic specialist was more than willing to help answer all of my crazy questions. They tested my aquarium water and made sure I had everything I needed. I was greeted with friendly faces as soon as I walked in the door and the location was super clean. Plus the bathrooms were spotless. This will be the Petco that I come too for all of my future fish needs.

I was surprised to see the poor reviews for this location. We live nearby and visit here every couple weeks - sometimes just to look at the various pets, sometimes to purchase pet supplies. Like most other Petco stores, this location is about half the size of most PetSmart locations. However, it is clean and the animals appear to be well taken care of. We will continue to shop / visit this location. We, however, have never used the grooming services here.

Stony the store manager was very rude when I brought a dead fish back to the store I had bought earlier that day, I guess you cant have a dead fish in the water you bring to test to make sure its not your tank water. I also asked him nicely to do it anyway just to see what it was at but he refused. Petsmart it is from now on.

Dont come here bad products, bad costumer service and workers dont care! Go to Petsmart!! I bought a collar which painted the neck area of my puppy, when I called to see if they could do something about it they did not care and said it was not their problem. The manager did not care at all.

I got a guinea pig and they told me she was a male guinea pig. I ended up having baby guinea pigs . Just make sure when buying any pet from here that its the right gender . She was in good Heath though and I still have her right now.

Our dog picked up a nasty tick while there for a routine grooming, and the store refused to take any responsibility for it unless we could physically prove it picked it up there. Evidently unsanitary and careless conditions.

They could use a few more staff, I think -- it can be tough to find someone to direct you, if youre looking for a particular item. But the ones who have helped me have been very nice.

Bought some freshwater fish for my aquarium and was told the wrong information about the fish, and noticed several dead fish in the tanks.
