The sales experience was great, but thats all this kind of company has to its name. After that - delivery was a nightmare... the delivery/assembly folks at first refused to help my pregnant wife to even move a few small pieces of furniture around to install appropriately. They even damaged some of the furniture and refused to admit it. But thats not even the worst of all - these jokers are unbelievable scam artists with the extended warranty service. It was marketed as a 100% service solution for any defects or accidents... but not true at all. I called in with a mechanical issue that this kind of warranty is basically designed to cover. But due to personal timing (various sicknesses and deaths in the family - and the warranty place being closed for holidays), they said it was too far from the reporting date to be covered. I wouldnt be surprised if they are the subject of a class action law suit eventually. DO NOT buy the extended warranty - Slumberland as well as their warranty subcontractor WILL NOT stand by it, looking for any excuse to screw the consumer. I hope these crooks stop marketing this scam to customers, but Im sure theres enough money in it for them to keep it up. Buyer beware!

I purchased a coffee & end table set at this location about 4 years ago. At the time, I purchased a 5-year warranty that I was told covered everything. About 3 years later, the fabric on the coffee table padding started to pull apart on the corners. After many conversations with the store and the warranty center, they continue to tell me that the tears are a manufacturer defect and not covered by the warranty. Ive mentioned many times about how I was told the warranty covered everything, but they continue to tell me its not covered. I guess at this point, Ill need to have some accidental damage occur to even have them consider replacing it. My advice is not only to avoid buying the warranties unless you truly understand the facts, but also to not shop at Slumberland. They dont seem to value their customers even when the customer has a strong case for being right. Consider other options!

My husband and I visited this location last Tuesday to purchase a mattress. We worked with Don, one of the sales associates. Don was incredible to work with; he had that perfect balance of educating us about the product and showing us options without pushing us towards a purchase that was outside of our stated budget. We were able to find what we were looking for and the delivery arrangements were a breeze. Additionally, he had a great sense of humor and made the entire experience comfortable and enjoyable. I felt like I bought a mattress from a friend. It is because of our experience with Don that we will be coming back to that store again.

Just go in and talk to Dianne Carlson @ Slumberland. Any store is only as good as the reputable person you deal with, and Dianne I would invite over as a friend. We spent close to 3500 on a Temperpedic Bed, she set up the purchase, got us a deal, and followed up regularly. We even had a problem with the rolling wheels and missing hardware a few months later, she remembered who we were, mailed us some hardware and sent us links how to fix the other problem with the wheels. I originally spoke with Cyndi, and she was a fountain of information over the phone. So head on in and ask for the right person.

Evening before I had gone to Ikea believing I would get great prices; turned out Slumberland had Ikea beaten not only with prices about 50-70% lower but, also great 1/1 service. A pleasant surprise was their low delivery + setup Cindy was the sales lady that helped me - resourceful, no high sales pressure One complaint - had forgotten a coupon I had received in the mail the day before and did not have it on me; had to go back the next day to knock the $100 off. In 2014, they should be able to apply the discount if the Customer tells them exactly which coupon and for how much it was...

Yesterday, we worked with Bryant and he was great. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and willing to provide his feedback when asked. Also, our favorite part, was that hed show us an item and then, step away for a couple minutes to let us discuss. Theres nothing worse than a salesperson standing over you during every step of your purchase so we really appreciated it. We ended up purchasing a Kona table and are excited to start using it. Also, we bought our entire Kona table set (table and six chairs) for $1100 so the prices were extremely reasonable. Thanks again.

I canceled my order - and have not received the refund back for over three weeks - whenever I made a phone call to the store, I have to wait long - long - and long time to actually have a person to talk (or more often, have nobody to talk, they keep changing the line and the ended up with hang up the phone). After a long waiting, I only got an message that they forgot to send me a refund check in so terribly rude manner. I hate this store, I will never go back to slumberland again.

Wow 0 stars would be my choice if possible. My husband and I walked around for 15 minutes and nobody offered us any help. I guess our money is not good there. We will never shop slumberland again. The sales associates were on their cell phones, I sat on furniture, and people walked past us. Maybe its because my husband is black. That is very unfortunate because we have money to buy furniture but they will not be getting our business.

My favorite furniture store! The customer service is wonderful. The prices are the best in town! I recently purchased 2 Lay-Z-Boy recliners and saved over $500 compared to what the official Lay-Z-Boy Store wanted to charge for the identical product one mile away! I will always begin my furniture shopping here with Slumberland.

My family and I went into this store yesterday, it was not busy. We walked around for 20 plus minutes with intention to buy and were not welcomed by the masses of sales people who were standing around with nothing to do. You lost a potentially good commission, and I will not recommend this store to anyone! Terrible service!

Slumberland in Bloomington is the best place to buy a mattress in the area. Their store is clean and the layout makes it easy to choose a great bed. Ask Bryant about the Stearns and Foster Reserve bed. It is seriously the most comfortable bed youve ever laid on.
