Room and Board used to be THE place to go in Minneapolis for fine furniture. Fortunately they still have some really cool lighting. Unfortunately since they ended their partnership with Herman Miller and drastically reduced their stock of Knoll furniture its gone down hill. They filled their showroom with knockoffs and fakes. No new, innovative design, no timeless classics, nothing custom. Just like HOM furniture except you can effortlessly choose one of six fabric samples theyve cleverly left out so you can still feel like youre customizing your new designer furniture. Boo!

They just delivered our shelving unit for the kitchen and the rugs for the living room. PERFECT! We had one of the shelving units from Ikea but it just didnt hold up to the weight of our implements of destruction. The new one from Room & Board is steel and should do the trick for years to come. Very happy!

We spent months picking through the Room & Board catalog in search of just the right piece to fit in our little 1920s living room. It had to fit the space, allow for 1 tall person and one with short legs! We absolutely fell in love with the Chelsea sectional.
