There are two reasons you call a Sales Associate by their first name: 1) The store requires the Associate to wear a plastic name badge and you are interested to see if you can pronounce their international name correctly, or 2) The Sales Associate does his or her job really really well and you want to return to this same store, same location, time and again, seeking out your Sales Associate “Brian Tomniczak” because he was in a word, EXCEPTIONAL. In a world of faceless internet purchases, you found a “friend”. Someone you can trust. Someone you can identify, and call on a first name basis and, you discover, through casual conversation, that he is a great father and husband as well. It figures. Your instincts were correct. I was fortunate enough to discover my exceptional Sales Associate, Brian Tomniczak at the Office Depot in St. Louis Park last week. Not only did he assemble my new rolling file cabinet with the upholstered top (I love it because I can rest my legs on it as well use it for filing), but he delivered the cabinet directly to my downtown neighborhood. I drive a fast, sporty car (very slowly, mind you) and there is not enough room in it to transport more than two bags of groceries so, using his own sturdy vehicle, Brian Tomniczak drove easily through the madness of downtown traffic, to deliver a new piece of office furniture directly to my door. What a guy! And now as the credits roll for Brian Tomniczak of Office Depot, I would like to add a bit of music. It is the famous opening theme song from The Golden Girls sitcom, titled “Thank You for Being a Friend”! Thank you Brian for your friendly and courteous assistance with my Office Depot purchases!

If youre looking for a great Impress printing team, check out the Office Depot in Eagan. I sent over samples for print. I got a call saying I hadnt formatted my document correctly. The man I spoke to cut me off a few times ("Sorry, go ahead,") and explained the reformatting and margins and bleeds that he needed. He said, annoyed, "Its just standard business card bleeds." I spent about an hour putting several different business card samples back-to-back. When I picked up my samples, there was a note attached to them. I wandered around the store while the employee working with me had a chance to run the note by her boss. When she was finished, I pulled out a business card. The one I pulled out looked great (lucky them)! I thanked her, paid and went home. When I looked through them all I noticed the cut of the cards were off a millimeter or so, even though I followed the template Office Depot requested to a tee. Im pretty astonished the manager on duty didnt say anything to me when I was there for pick-up, assuming the note attached to my items explained the issues. Anyways, two lessons learned: look through all of your samples before paying and dont go back to this place.

So they sold me a Microsoft Office 365 program the employee recommended it for my needs but I was not able to install it because the activation cod dont work or some other issue so I brought it back They refused to take it back the reason was that I scratched the gray part but how can I install it without scratching the gray off, they sell you stuff and then refuse to give you your money back . so $85 down the toilet

We stopped by a couple of nights ago to purchase some general office supplies. Though the store was well laid out and the items I wanted were easy to find, the service wasnt the best. The store wasnt busy and the cashier who helped us was extremely rude and acted as if we were an inconvenience when checking out. There are other options available, and Ill utilize them before re-visiting this location.

Multiple employees at the printing center were awesome at taking my calls and working with me to ensure my wedding programs and seating chart got done quickly. When I visited in person, John-Brian went over my order thoroughly and gave great advice on how to format the chart. The store was also nice, clean, and organized.

I was not impressed with their "Impress" Center. I come in regularly to have business proposals bound. It used to be they would do it while I shopped for office supplies. Now they tell me it is a 24 hour project. There are so many office supply stores that want my business. Officemax wont have it anymore.

Nice clean, first time in the store - shopping for ink for my printer. Approached by staff while looking at inks, offered to help me, Nice, I already found what i was looking for, although it did take me a little while to figure out where the inks were in the store.

Store layout is awesome. Short height isles so you can see associates. Had one guy help me, and while he was getting some inventory I needed someone came up and asked if I needed help. Also checkout was quick. Best office supplies store I have ever been in.

Pretty helpful staff, newly re-modeled and clean/aesthetically pleasing. Large inventory. I was overcharged on their self-use computer for printing which is outsourced, so they couldnt return my money and I didnt have time to call the number.

Print and bind takes too long. 24-48 hours turn around, thats too long. Largest banner they can do is 10 by 2 ft. I was told 48 hours but took them one hour because they started right before the 48 hours mark.

Long wait for printing services, but overall a good experience. They worked with us to look at Save the Date samples and gave us paper suggestions. Also, very willing to apply discounts when they qualify.
