At first the experience was pleasant and I found the exact item I was looking for with the assistance of a sales representative. However, once I paid for the item and a home delivery scheduled, that is where my positive experience ended there. On the day I was supposed to have my furniture delivered, I received a call from HOMs customer service indicating my furniture was on back order and was would not be available for over 2 months. I then contacted the store where I purchased the items from and spoke with a manager who assured me there was a mix-up and that my furniture would be delivered the following Thursday. On the following Thursday, I had not received my furniture, so I called the store asking what time I should expect delivery. The sales representative, the same one who sold me the furniture, informed me that there was nothing on the schedule for today and that my purchase was back ordered two months out. I then said if this was the case that I would like to cancel my order. The sales representative then said let me speak with my manager and I will call you back. After about an hour, she called back and told me that my furniture would be delivered the next day. I asked why it was not being delivered today and why it kept being delayed. She said she was not sure and that it would be delivered the next day. She did offer me free delivery, but when I requested some type of receipt indicating I would not be charged for the delivery. She said, “I am with a customer, can I call you back?” Needless to say, as of the writing of this review, I have not received a call back. I am calling customer server to cancel my order…I would not recommend HOM Furniture.

I recently bought a home and went to HOM furniture in Woodbury to buy a sectional and entertainment center. Sheri was great at showing me around and helping me pick the perfect furniture for me. I had fallen in love with the Ranier sectional as the comfort gel seating made me not want to leave it. When the delivery guys arrived it was quickly determined that there was no way to get it through my basement door. I was REALLY disappointed as I loved the Ranier. I went back to see Shari again and she showed me some other sectionals that were lower and would fit through the door. They were okay but not the 1 I loved. She then talked to a couple of other employees and the store manager. By the next morning she had found a contractor that would remove and replace the door and frame so I could get MY furniture. This was truly "beyond usual" customer service! Yesterday they delivered my sectional and I am one VERY happy customer!!

SPEND YOUR MONEY SOME WHERE ELSE!!! Horrible customer service, nothing but issues... only bought from hom due to next day delivery, that took almost 2 weeks, was lied to and treated very bad by floor manager. website states they will match any sales price with in 30 days, a week after I asked them to match there own sale price and was told all prices are final. After many calls to the store I called corporate to try to get resolved with no call back! Reached out to the store again to just return and buy else where. Was told no... not till I disputed the charges did anyone in this company care.. at this point they did take care of it but took up a ton of my time and was obviously not for customer satisfaction, they just wanted to get paid. They also lied to the finance company about my complaint. Stated I made unreasonable demands!! No just asked for what you advertise!

We met Alyssa in the Woodbury store. Shes a designer and an amazing one at that. We needed to furnish our entire home and felt extremely overwhelmed with how many pieces we needed to select and how to make them all work together. This is our dream home so making the best selections was very important this time around. Alyssa brought us from wondering if wed be able to do this at all, to being so excited about our selections in a matter of a couple hours. Shes sharp, educated, knowledgeable, professional, and really a pleasure to be around personally. I cannot thank her enough for assisting us and if anyone needs help in the Woodbury store, youre doing yourself a disservice if you dont ask for her by name.

We were helped by Jennifer and she was amazing! She wasnt pushy at all, honest and knowledgeable about the product we were interested in , the Jonathon sectional. We had our three children with us and she helped with them so my husband and I could make a decision. She gave us fabric swatches for us to take home. We made a decision right away and I returned later in the day so I could meet with Jennifer specifically. We made the purchase of the Jonathon sectional. She played a big part in our quick decision making! Thank you Jennifer and HOM for the great customer service. We look forward to receiving our new couch! I will be recommending Jennifer and HOM to all my nearby friends and family.

This review is based solely on the mattress salesperson we met. She was incredibly rude and condescending. When we told her we were looking for a firm mattress, she informed us that we didnt know what we wanted. When I said no, we know we want a firm mattress (as this was not the first store we had visited), she completely stopped talking to me and would only speak to my husband. At the end of her obnoxious sales pitch, she informed us that she works on commission (no kidding). I would never buy a mattress from this woman. We chose Original Mattress Factory instead, as they had better products and MUCH better customer service.

Had a expensive power recliner couch delivered, switch for the recliner was broken. Only after telling to pick-up and to cancel the order they sent out a repair man. Determined the switch was bad, ordered switch (did they ) its been over a week ,no reply from service. Called to find out any information about the order, nothing said about time just that it was on order, maybe the part will be the end of March ( eight weeks). Call the factory and the part will be here by the end of the week. I will not ever buy from Hom Furniture and will not recommend them, they have the worst customer service I have ever delt with.

I am shocked an appalled at the lack of customer service at this location. There is absolutely no excuse for the lack of basic courtesies for incoming customers. I went in, cash in hand wanting to buy a new bed for my son. Neither of the two sales reps at the door even so much as smiled, but instead walked away, as did a 3rd sales rep when we got upstairs. Not one hello, nor friendly smile, nor even a nod of a head. They did have the items I was looking for on the floor, but I will purchase from another company that has adequate customer service.

Going to new stores is always a hit or miss. But we were beyond surprised with the customer service we received when we came in! Jennifer Downing went above and beyond our expectations with her eye for details and finding the perfect piece for our home. Jennifer listened and found exactly what we wanted, she was kind, and fun to be around. Finding great customer service is getting harder and harder to come by. Simply put we will be back to Hom Furniture just for Jennifer Downing because you cant beat her INCREDIBLE customer service and kindness!
