I took my beautiful little yorkie girl and boy in for a groom and I use my dogs as models and had a photoshoot set up for them after they got groomed. I specifically told them not to cut any length off of my girls face because I wanted it to grow out. I told them to ONLY tip her ears and to clean the hair around her eyes. I even provided a picture for them of what I wanted her to look like when finished and offered to text it to one of their phones. I explained all of my wants to one groomer and a different person is the one that actually groomed her. Found out that the one that groomed her was the grooming manager Stephanie. She cut off her hair on top so that I could not put any bows in her hair whatsoever (I also purchased bows while there and asked them to put them in her hair) and they cut the hair in front of her ears that I wanted to grow out to achieve the look that I was wanting. When I told them afterwards that I didnt want her hair cut that way, all the manager said was "Oh I am so Sorry" never mentioned their "great look guarantee" at all! She handed me my bill and I went to the front to pay and was making small talk with the cashier as I checked out and mentioned that they cut off my dogs topknot and was not happy about it. He said that he would compensate me on the next one. Found out that he was actually the manager of the store and his name is Tony. I dont see why I wasnt immediately refunded for the bad groom and why I have to give them another chance to ruin my dogs look once again. The great look guarantee does not state that I have to bring them back in. It says that its supposed to look great like I requested or its free. Period! So $117 for 2 dogs to get a full groom and my model female now looks like a boy dog and really terrible. Cancelled the photoshoot which was another $100 cancellation fee. Also have at least $200 in custom bows ordered that I cannot use or model for the lady that makes them for me and she uses for advertising and sales. I would not recommend petsmart grooming at all here in Tulsa. I travel all across the united states and use their grooming salon for my yorkies and this time just really took the cake to Where I dont think I can use them anymore. Might just sound petty to others but when its your money going to waste for your beloved dogs, then you would be pretty upset as well.

The actual store itself has no probelms, but the fact that they allow and support adoption agencies that are unprofessional and rude will probably turn customers like me away. If youre looking to adopt and you come across " Pet adoption Leauge" RUN!! After falling in love with the perfect dog for our family, and filling out their page long application, along with intense interrogation afterwards being tag-teamed by two different "helpful volunteers" we were told wed be contacted by the end of the week. 30 minutes later, they called my cell phone, saying we could take him home that night and complete the adoption! When I called back with my heart jumping for joy, they told me the dog had been returned to his kennel and she would contact us later that week. When contacted, the woman told us we were not a good fit for the dog, and we were "irresponsible" because we did not have the proper home for the dog. 40 acres, 2,000 sq foot house, and a 20x30 fenced in yard were not enough. The woman was rude, and in the process of breaking our hearts did not want to listen to anything we had to say. I hope that when looking for a dog or cat, others will remember this story and stay far away. Especially if you find these people asking for donations because they are absolutely not using their resources to find these dogs and cats a home. I understand the need for checking into a family, but not for ripping an animal out from under them for no reason and being rude and on a power trip while they do it. This is why pets arent adopted, not because people dont want them, because you have to be selected if you are proper enough to own an animal. Its sad that most will be driven to puppy mills and breeders instead of adopting a dog needing a forever home. RUN FROM THE PET ADOPTION LEAUGE OF TULSA!!! do NOT donate to them just for them to turn down decent home after decent home.

I took my dog to be groomed and although they provided great customer service, I was displeased with the way they groomed her. They shaved her body and left her tail and face long, which I understand the groomer thought was really cute but it just wasnt good, her ear hair remained long & matted so I had to cut her ear hair myself...They also shaved too close in between her eyes and in between the pads of her paws which made that skin a little scabby and irritated. And they just missed a bunch of spots where I had to go back through with scissors. She also came home with a few fleas. These things may seem petty which why I give them 3 stars, not 1. They got the job done but I personally felt like my money would have been better spent elsewhere. I just want to add that I felt the woman who was taking my dog in and asking how I wanted her groomed was overbearing, I started to tell her what I wanted but she just sort of interrupted and told me what she was going to do so I just trusted in her professional expertise to do a good job... Either way, leaving her ear hair long and matted is not okay for a professional grooming service.

DO NOT USE THEIR GROOMING SERVICE! We took our dog there several times, and she always acted funny when she got home. We had assumed it was just the trauma of being in someone elses care. The last time we took her (our german sheapard) to be groomed there, they SHAVED OFF HER NIPPLES. I could not believe I let my dog be hurt like this. Our dog loves to have her belly rubbed, but she wouldnt let us go near her stomach after she got home. Upon closer inspection, i found 6 bloody dots where her nipples used to be. The amount of negligence shown here is borderlining on straight up abuse. The only way I could imagine a dog groomer doing this by mistake and not seeing it would be if they were drunk or on drugs. I will never shop at this store again. I am telling this horror story to everyone I know that has an animal. Please, do not let your animal be hurt by these cruel, ignorant people.

I visited this location today because its closer to my home and with my experience of working in the 41st area I try to drive my business there. I was in the isle waiting for the lady employee to finish another customer when she started to help another then walked away after that. So I proceeded to the desk for help and again after 10 minutes and she finally came just to tell me no they didnt have the hamster cage that was on sale on the shelf. I asked her, "so you only keep one on the shelf and once it sells thats it?" She said, Yup. I said ok and she just walked away. I called the 71st location and they were able to help me not only over the phone but in the store I was asked twice if I needed help even though I was on the phone and selecting what I needed.
