This Petco has lost our business for good. The product selection is good and the store staff is friendly, but the grooming staff/services are beyond terrible. Our dog has extreme anal gland issues and must be expressed monthly. If not she gets very sick and uncomfortable and begins leaking fluid that ruins anything it touches. We have a groomer and a vet that takes care of this monthly for us, but this month her glands filled up quicker than normal. We woke up this morning and found she was in her sick/uncomfortable demeanor and was leaking fluid. We then verified with the sniff test that indeed her glands were full. Unfortunately it is Sunday and neither our groomer nor our vet is open so we opted for Petco. When we called they said they could do an anal gland expression and bath first thing when they open. So we took her in as soon as they opened. Over 3 hours later they called and said she was ready. I picked her up and asked about her glands. The staff member/tech said she didnt have anything in her glands and therefore only charged me for the bath. I asked if she was positive and she said yes, she attempted multiple times. So, they lied about the glands, they took 3 hours, and charged me $38 + tax for a bath, a BATH, that I could have done for less than $1 and 10 minutes at the house. Now Im out almost $40 and still have to schedule and pay another groomer to properly express her glands. Oh, and I forgot to mention, they brought out the wrong dog at first when I asked for my dog. I could have just walked off with someone elses pup if I wanted to. I highly, highly suggest you go elsewhere for pet services.. this place is atrocious. Just read the Google reviews on this store... supposedly a customer had their dog die from an infection they got by this groomer.

On Wed. I took my mixed terrier to be groomed. Even though the groomer said she was the only one there she agreed for me to bring her in. (my first mistake). Afterwards though my dog looked pretty. Thur. she started to sneeze. I took her to the vet, but as the temp. has fallen, I thought this was the problem. She had a fever of 104 degrees. Friday, no better but was on antibiotics three times a day. Fever was 102 degrees and she had lost weight. Sat. she went back to the vet as her eyes were red. She received eye drops. Sun. night she died of pneumonia at the Animal Emergency Clinic of pneumonia. I have no way of knowing, but feel she picked up something at the groomer. She was a very healthy 12 year old dog prior to going there. I am so sad and grief stricken. My little pup as I called her is gone and it is hard to believe. She died in four days from the time she was groomed.

I went in to purchase crickets to feed my pets at home. It was past 4 in the afternoon and I was MORTIFIED to find that the crickets had been pre-bagged and grouped by cost since early that morning. 1/4 of all the crickets in the bags were dead. This is because the air they needed to survive has been given to them earlier and had since dissipated. What about the air they needed to transport home? The crickets were also severely undernourished and were being sold as feeders. Cmon guys....get with the program or stop selling them! I wound up raising my own roach colonies rather than return to that Petco.

The employees were not friendly or helpful. Just a few observations: the leopard geckos werent kept in good conditions and one looked like he had an infection on his tail, but we couldnt find anybody to tell them (when we realized that something was wrong).youd think that since they sell such exotic pets (reptiles specifically) they would have care guides available for them. I originally went in to get guinea pig toys but I quickly put them back because I simply dont feel comfortable supporting them as a store anymore.

Dont recommend the grooming here. While they are cheaper than the local places, they will create more work for you. They are terrible at keeping vet files on hand, poor customer service, and the last few times I have tried to book an appointment, I was on hold for more than 5 minutes. My advice, go local to the Pet Spa on 25th.

I dont endorse selling animals, and I havent gotten my pets groomed here (except a nail clip). However! Awesome customer service, the employees are helpful and kind. Some cat/dog products arent great so just do your research before buying. Petco can accept some returns with receipt etc.

We brought our dog in to have her nails clipped and ended up getting her hair cut and a bath. She looks SO GOOD. The fact that she was scared and they took really good care of her and made her feel safe. They did an amazing job and will be bring both of my dogs here from now on.

They have a great selection of pet food and a pretty good selection of pet toys, collars, leashes, etc...birds, various rodents, snakes, lizards, turtles are for sale. Their prices run a little high though.

The staff here are always friendly and willing to help. They are also quite knowledgeable so you can rest assured when you have questions about animals or your purchases. I highly recommend!

The turtles have bleeding ulcers on their heads and neck, the lizards looked lethargic and enclosures are filled with feces. Places like these should not be allowed to sell animals.

I have never had a problem with staff or selection at this location. All though it isnt the cleanest petstore Ive ever been in, the friendliness of staff more than makes up for it.

Petco is the most overpriced pet store you will find. Went there for some medication, $50. Walmart, although I despise, $25. There is no excuse for your inflation.

Prices are ok, cannot order online for in store pick up. We wish this were possible, but it isnt the stores fault (it is a corporate set up)

Its a petco. So good varieties for dogs and cats. Lots of choices but is more like Target for prices vs. Walmart.
