I am not usually one to leave reviews, especially negative ones, but I just want to warn other brides so they dont have a similar experience. I bought my wedding dress from The White Dress back in October. The shopping experience was pleasant enough, and the girl helping me was very nice. The other women working the desk were a bit rude / standoffish. I did feel a bit pressured to say "yes to the dress" by the salespeople when I was feeling unsure. It was my last stop and we were leaving town, so I took a leap and bought the dress. They also dont let you take photos of the dresses to compare. They say this is standard but the other 6 dress shops I tried were happy to let me take photos. It seems like they want you to buy on the spot and not have too much time to think about it. Anyway, we ordered the dress and the salesperson assured me we should definitely order a size up. "Thats what everyone does." I voiced concern but trusted her. She sells wedding dresses for a living and I figured she knew what she was talking about. I was told the dress would be ready in March. I called TWD in early March and was told my dress was in. Great! But because I ordered a custom hem length, I would need to pick it up in person and it couldnt be shipped to me in Montana. This didnt make a lot of sense to me but I made the trip anyway. When I arrived, my scheduled salesperson, the one who originally helped me try it on, was out sick. I was given to another girl who treated me like an inconvenience to her day. I was rushed in and out and she was quite rude and cold. I was told my veil hadnt arrived yet and would be in before the end of the month. The dress was WAY too big and obviously needed extensive alterations. Fast forward to May. My dress has been taken in, but still doesnt fit well due to it being ordered too large. My veil still hadnt arrived and when I called TWD for the third time, I was told they had been "trying to get ahold of me." Which just wasnt true. They then charged me $40 shipping for a box that weighed less than half a pound. When the veil arrived, it was a totally different texture from what I ordered. At this point I gave up dealing with The White Dress. I ordered a new veil and a new dress online from BHLDN which arrived promptly and in the correct size. This is what I should have done from the start. I urge other brides to avoid the White Dress. It was not a pleasant experience and set me back a lot of time and money.

I started my search for a wedding gown at TWD, I went in and everything was beautiful and everyone was nice. When I called and scheduled my appt. I asked if they had stuff in my size to try on and was told they do. When we started our search nothing seemed to be above a size 10/12 which runs small in wedding dress, but I started trying stuff on. I also went in with a strict budget to which we were staying true to. Nothing was fitting right and I just wasnt loving anything. My stylist asked if I was open to something a little different. I said yes. She came back with a 2 piece dress. I tried it on and fell in love. I had to have it. Once we went back into the dressing room she informed me the dress was a little out of budget... NOPE. The dress was $1500 outside my budget. I talked it over with my mom and we decided to just get the skirt and have the top made. (Still making it $300 out of budget). All was well and I left happy. A month after ordering my dress I received a call that I now owed an additional $130 for having to order a larger size. Instantly upset. I already had contracts stating my dress cost and then they wanted MORE money. This would bring my dress to being $430 out of budget and I still had to have a top made and alterations. After talking to my mom and Fiance we decided to cancel the order. When I called to let them know I wanted to cancel they said they would make me a deal and either cover the additional size cost OR the cost of fabric for my top. They said the additional fabric was $35/yard... at my appt and written on my contract they said it was $16/yard. I also called another Dress shop and they said the additional size cost should only be $100.... After many lies and frustrations I cancelled my order and got my money back. I wouldnt recommend them at all besides the beauty of the shop. SO many lies and price mark ups it was insane. I had such high hopes only to be let down.

My mother flew in from out of town to help me find a wedding dress during one weekend. Most people recommend going to one bridal store per weekend. Not us we went to five wedding dress stores in two days. At the end of the weekend I had very real expectations on what dress shops had to offer both in quality or service and pricing. We went to The White Dress last (I had pre-made an appointment at a Bridal Show on a whim). It was by far and away the best bridal boutique I went to. You walk in and immediately feel like a celebrity. The ladies at the front desk treat you and your party like queens, offering champagne or a NA beverage. You are then whisked away into a gorgeously decorated room. The room is set up perfectly, private but large enough for your guests to relax, theres also a separate room for you and your dedicated staff member to try on dresses so your friends still get that "wow" effect as you step out from behind the curtains. With all this special attention, gorgeous dresses and amazing location you would think the price of wedding dresses would be astronomical. Theyre not! All the dress were very reasonably priced, most were even lower than other shops we visited. The best part was, Felisha, our personalized staff member. She was the perfect blend of professional and friendly. She felt like one of my friends and had great suggestions on what would look good on my body type. The best part was that she really listened to me, and what I wanted. My mother and friend had A LOT of opinions which she listened to with a smile, but would always look to me for the direction I wanted to go in, not them. I ended up finding my perfect dress, but even if I hadnt I would still recommend this boutique to anyone looking for a dress. Just maybe dont go to the The White Dress first or you will be sorely disappointed by any other bridal boutique.

This shop is amazing! They have only been in business since January 2015 but they are killing it! -First of, the location is great! -Second, the shop itself is perfect, every girls dream. It is the kind of shop you see in movies or walk by and hope that one day you can go in there and try on a dress. You get your own personal fitting room for you & your guests. -Champagne, tea, water, etc. provided to you. I see some comments that say they are pushy, and try to make the sale. I did not experience that at all with any of the ladies I dealt with. I had Katrina the store manager help select dresses, and she acknowledged all my concerns about what I wanted in a dress, which styles I liked (I had already tried on different styles at a different shop). & she was super awesome about finding dresses that she thought I would like. I had actually found a dress I loved at a different shop, this was my 4th wedding dress boutique. I came in just for fun to see their selection & saw a dress that I really loved so I made an appointment to try it on, and LOVED it, ended up buying it there! -Also regarding photos, if you have ever been wedding dress shopping, the NO PHOTOS rules apply to most shops and that is because of the designers. You are only allowed to take photos of the dress if you are buying it. Not sure why people are appalled by that, that is usually standard practice. I have been a bridesmaid 7 times & been to multiple stores & they are always very strict about photography. The point is, if you are getting married come in & try on some dresses. Even if you dont find anything you love, the experience is super fun & honestly the dresses are all beautiful! Thank you White Dress team for being such wonderful people!
