We had a very bad experience with PetSmart at Wells Rd, Orange Park, FL 3207. Me and my husband went on Sunday, February 14th to PetSmart at Orange Park to adopt a cat. We picked the cat, which matched the cat we already have (this was the point - to have 2 cats matching). But the representative of the PetSmart told us that we can not take it home, as we have to fill out some paper work as it the only way Animal Rescue Movement (which is responsible for cats adoption at Petsmart) lets people to adopt their cats. My husband filled out the application. We waited and called the phone number which is mentioned at Animal Rescue Movement, but nobody ever responded. Only on Tuesday a lady called "Laura" or "Lora" called us and told us to call her back (she said us that our application got approved, but we have to call her). We called, and again - same story- no response. Eventually she called us and told us to come to pick up the cat... My husband had to drop his job to drive to pick up the cat ((the store is not close by to the place we live, takes us an hour just to get there), and when he showed up - there was no cat, and no "Laura" or "Lora" (whatever her name is). So, we were told that manager of Petsmart gave that cat away to another person. We spent hours driving back and forth, got into traffic, and after all my husband had to spend the whole evening finishing his job and we did not even get the cat. We will never come back to PetSmart, 1919 Wells Rd, Orange Park, FL, and we will spread the word to all our friends and other people we know to tell about our horrible experience. I called about dog nail clipping since I had never been to this store and it is a LONG drive for me. I was told they had this service and told the price. I had my husband drive me since I have never driven in this area. We arrive only to be told NO SERVICE WITHOUT PAPERS????? My dog had on her tags NOT GOOD ENOUGH? Sure wish lady on the phone had bothered to give me all NEEDED info on the phone. Long drive for nothing. Once phone; I called to speak to manager to advise better training for employees who answer the phone LOL the person who answered the phone, when I ask to speak to the store manager actually told me she was the manager!!!!!!! Do they really believe people believe that???? NEVER RETURN HERE!!!!

We bought a parakeet for more daughter and it died within 5 days. We took very good care of this bird. I explained that this experience was heartbreaking for my daughter. The store manager was courteous but when I said that we were not interested in replacing the parakeet their was no offer to reimburse me or provide an in store credit. As a minimum, an in store credit should have been offered. I have 5 other pets and I will never spend a dime in this store again.

Absolutely hate this store. Bought a Guinea pig from them. When I got home that day, I realized he had an upper respiratory infection. I took him to the Petsmart in Oakleaf and they are caring for him. I was told her was SEVERLY malnourished. He had no energy when I got him. They had 6 Guinea pigs in one tank there. Once I get mine back, I will be calling corporate. It is illegal to have that many in one area. Please go to the Petsmart in Oakleaf.

Purchased a 125 gallon fish tank. Everything went fine until one of the guys scraped it against a shelf leaving us with a nice blemish to fix. Customer service wasnt so great. No thank you for shopping at pets mart or anything we also had to wait for someone to assist us having several people walk past. Other than that I enjoy having my dogs groomed there. Might give oak leaf a try since its now closer.

I love this store its very clean all the associates are very nice and welcoming the groomer are fantastic the only problem I have with this store is Cheryl who is very unprofessional I have heard her talk about other customers in the store to the associates and is very rude when you try to ask her a question. Many of my family and friends that go there also say the same thing.

Pretty much have any easy fish you can think of, and small animal choices is always available. Pretty good pet food selection and always kittens for adoption. They have grooming(we no longer go to since our dogs favorite groomer left and hes gone twice and ended up nicked), a banefield pet hospital(the techs are nice and easy to speak to) and training as well.

Took my dog to them for grooming and he never had an seizure till he went there with then 10 minutes of arriving home I had to go back up there I was told he was at benefield vet because he had a seizure I will not return himbto the groomers again. I found another groomer for my dog and its funny how he has not had a seizure since and its been a year.

They made me laugh, the girl was so super kind to take a lot of time to let me look at product of choice. She was extremely patient with me, which I appreciate more than words can explain. She was very nice and very well educated on all subjects as well. Would definitely recommend this store to anyone!!!! :)

We love Pet Smart ! They staff is awesome. They help with adoptions & also with the animal shelters in town. To me,,I want to patronize Pet Smart for helping to save animals lives. They also match prices & have the best selection. Our Babies give Pet Smart "Two Paws" up !!

Their return policy is ridiculous. Needed to exchange some fish chemicals, but couldnt find the receipt and it wasnt under my number. Even though I would have ended up owing them money, they refused to exchange for me. I will not be purchasing anything from here anymore.

Moved from off Blanding Blvd, this new location seems smaller. The space inside was clean although their parking lot had lots of "presents" left by four legged patrons. The staff was friendly and assisted me when I had a concern about an opened package for a cat toy.

The people in Petsmart groomer hung up on me not once but 3 times. I kept calling back and when i did finally get a person on the phone they were rude to me. My dog is my baby I dont trust them in grooming my dog I wouldnt let them groom any animal I have.

Horrendous management of a Pet Facilitation. No word or information can be provided on why things are allowed to run in this condition. Heather was the name of the GM who is a direct reflection of the stores ability to appease employees and animals needs.

They have really crappy bathers. I had to ask for my pets hair to be brushedand one ear only was cleaned. They seamed to not know what there job entailed. I feel they need proper training. I now go to petco and there grooming has really stepped up.
