Last week I tried to take my dog in to get his nails done. The groomer was open until 6pm, and I got there at 4:30pm. No one was there. I assumed the groomer was on break. Nope. There was no groomer. I asked the manager what was going on. For starters, she had no idea that there was no one working in grooming. Then, she said I should come back in the morning, despite the fact she had no idea if there was going to be a groomer working in the morning. I asked what theyre doing for the customers whod come in and cannot be served. She said, "I suggest you come back in the morning." I left and I have no intention of returning. To compound my frustrations... I called Petco Customer Service to tell them theyd just lost me as a customer. Despite having told them twice what location I was referring to, they filed the report with a Petco 3 hours away. Not helpful. Now that I know how little Petco - and all its levels of management - respects their customers, I will not be going back. Im just as happy spending my money at other stores and with other groomers.

Not a good grooming experience at this Petco in Knightdale, NC! We are visiting in the Garner area and our shih tzu needed to be bathed. We brought our six year old full-coated shih tzu to Petco on October 15, 2015 to get a bath and blow dry only! We asked to have the hair on her upper lip trimmed. I said about 3 times that we did not want anything else cut on her face, as she has a full coat with a long beard. When we picked her up, the groomer had literally chopped the hair on her face!!!! This is NOT the job of a professional groomer! We are VERY upset that our instructions were not followed and our dog’s face is a chopped mess! It will take about a year (or longer) for her face to grow out. The Petco grooming supervisor apologized, but the fact is – the groomer messed up our dog for no reason! A professional groomer – I do not think so! We have a groomer at home, but she just needed a simple bath. This is our last trip to this Petco for any reason. Still quite upset, Seaford, VA

i cant express how rudely i was treated on the phone. i am looking for a winter white hamster. i asked "do yall have any winter white hamsters?" she replied "what?" i said "do yall have any winter white hamsters" she said "winter what?" (i was speaking clearly) i said "the color white" she said "we have white hamsters" Winter White hamsters are a real thing and these people need to be trained on that. she got what i said when i asked winter white but didnt put it all together im guessing????

Dont think we will ever shop here again.. Cashier accused us out loud of debit card fraud, and then treated us as criminals when we used cash and had to have a couple items put back..All of this over a mess up with their outdated computers! Called our bank and they said everything was fine and the fault was the stores computers, not on the banks end. We are considering taking legal action against the cashier and the store for slander and wrongful accusations and poor treatment!

Wow! That was most ugliest Petco I ever been on aquarium side. Most aquariums empty, plants dieing, most off Betta fish is dead. Never seen so careless store in my live. Dont go there with kids, depressing view. This store looks like will closed soon. My guess need change a manager, if he dont care what is going on in that store at Saturday morning, he not need a job.

Lori - our groomer. Lori is the BEST! I would not take my 17 year old dog to anyone but her. She handles her well and takes great care with her. She is my groomer for both my dogs and has cut my cats nails at times. I highly recommend Lori!! Petco has a good selection of good foods for dogs as well and great toys.

Took my 5 lb dog there for grooming and she ended up getting a gash on her chest and having to receive stiches. I understand mistakes happen and my dog was matted but I think everything should be known. Good and bad, mistakes and all. A family member of mine loves Petco Grooming but I definitely will not be returning.

Generally clean and good prices. My dogs found something to eat off the ground in some of the aisles though. Friendly staff helped us pick out a good harness for the pups

Just had our Yorkie puppy groomed at the Knightdale location. The groomer was very nice and did an excellent job. Milo was happy and clean. Thanks! PETCO Knightdale!

Well kept store, clean floors and shelves and doesnt smell like a pet shop. Friendly staff. Store offers training for your dogs and grooming.

Purchased 8 fish...6 died overnight. Water tested great. Many..MANY dead fish in multiple tanks, should have been my clue
