Brett sent in the wrong measurements for wood that we brought to him from our shop to get a match, and he measured it him self. My parts manager called. In on march 29th to set up exchange on march 30th because it was the wrong size in width. We Come back into store Brett is on phone a service rep did his best to but could not because unknown to us it was a special order. Brett was told we where needing to talk to him. He walked away to go the bathroom. 15 min later he comes back and started off saying he could not do anything. We had to remind him that he was the one who personally measured the wood we brought in for replacement. He said he cant remember since it was almost a week ago. Brett also walked away from the conversation 3 times and I had to reingage him to get this solved. Manager was outwardly frustrated before we got there, I feel bad for the employees that have to deal with that kind of negative culture
I will start by saying I have never gone to the trouble of posting a negative review of a business. I usually just dont do business with them anymore. This was a terrible experience. Guy behind the counter seemed to be intentionally making (what should have been) a basic conversation difficult. Tried to get some help ordering a support beam and, after talking in circles for ten minutes, I gave up. There was another associate there who seemed to want to help, or at least correct/clarify the first guys misstatements. It seemed he didnt want to be rude and interrupt the first guy. After an uncomfortable few minutes he retreated to an office. I have always had much better service from building supply houses and was very disappointed by this store. I wonder how many other customers come here and are run off by this "salesman"?
Good selection and if they dont have it they can order from another place down the street that usually only makes contract orders the staff is pretty friendly... I mean its a lumber store lol
Waited 45 min, then had to pick and load my own lumber. Ridiculous. Time is money, and they cost me money. Plenty of other lumber yards around.
